This unit was recommended to me by multiple professional video engineers and is perfect for being able to use an older laptop that outputs a VGA signal for an external monitor and converting it to a modern digital format like HDMI or SDI to send the signal to modern video switchers, etc. I no longer have to feel embarrassed when asked by a video engineer at corporate events what sort of output I can provide them and having to say "VGA or composite." The Rack mount locks each Unit together as well as to the face plate. The Rack Mount includes Power Transformer and Power leads for up to 8 Devices. We use Datavideo DAC-70s for Computer Inputs with BMD ATEM 2ME Production Studio 4K Video Switch. Connected though BlueJeansCable 6G SDI Flex Cables, custom lengths.
