So many of them are so outrageously expensive that I could not justify buying them for a toddler knowing that there is a chance she might eventually spill something (or pee) and stain it. When I found this I was concerned what the quality might be like due to the price....I was so pleasantly surprised! It has a nice weight to it and the quality is great. The only thing missing were the little tabs inside the duvet you use to tie the corners of the comforter too (but that was an easy fix). I have washed it several times and it holds up well. No padding inside like normal covers.
