I have carpet throughout most of my house ... *by P***A on December 26, 2016* This rat is awesome. I have carpet throughout most of my house and this wheels right over all of it without an issue. I only gave it 4 stars because it is huge and therefore instead of chasing it they kind of stand back. I had no idea it was so big. It is nearly life size of a rat. Also, the whirring noise of the motor is pretty loud. It sounds like a remote control car. Other than this, I continue to play with it and attempt to get my cats involved. They are curious about it...just enough to go leaping after it. ### ⭐ Rat on a string would be better *by Y***E on February 4, 2017* Kind of disappointed... the range is very short. You almost have to stand over the rat to get the remote to work. For the range you might be better off buying a rat attached to a string and pull it. Other than that it did work but definitely not worth saying it's a remote toy. ### ⭐⭐ My cat's were able to easily ascertain this was not a real mouse *by M***E on July 11, 2017* My cat's were able to easily ascertain this was not a real mouse, much to my dismay. My general theory is that because this mouse only goes backward and forward and does not turn, my cats were able to use deductive reasoning to determine that a real mouse would, in fact, be able to turn and run away rather than just repeating the same path over and over and thus lost interest very quickly. It's also huge, like a rat. I keep it in a drawer now, unsure of what to do with it. I know the cats don't like it, but maybe I will one day have a very random use for this thing. No clue what it would be but hey who knows?
