Excellent product. I have tried many over the years. I've even done the foil, boiling water and baking soda routine. This works in seconds and no scrubbing. Dip, rinse in warm soapy water, rinse and dry.

Why is there no information either on Amazon's website or on the bottle that the liquid can not be put down a drain or poured on the ground - it must be taken to a hazardous facility to get rid of it. It should not be sold anywhere!!!!! Very disappointed in both Hagerty and for Amazon for selling it.

I used this on flatware, platters and pitchers in one afternoon. The pieces had the telltale signs of jeweler's polish, bubble outlines and streaky tarnish. None of that with this product. I started with the smallest, shallowest container and poured product over the pieces. Then took the runoff, and added product for the next size container, always the shallowest or narrowest container for submersion of the piece. Flatware went into an old Crystal Lite container with a quick flip, etc. After 3 hours and many pieces, I only had to discard the runoff once.

This silver cleaner does a quick job of removing even long standing tarnish on silver plate. I had some silverware that had been immersed in water for weeks after rain leaked into the storage where the silverware was stored and forgotten. They were black with tarnish that I didn't think would ever be able to be removed. I saw this brand on Amazon and knew it was a good one. I placed the silverware a few at a time into a glass container and filled it with Hagerty's silver cleaner. It only took a few seconds for some of the tarnish to disappear while the heaviest tarnished items took about a minute to come clean. The cleaner left a white haze on the silver that could not be rinsed off so I used Hagerty's cream silver polish to remove the haze and brighten the silver to a gleaming shine. The haze would not be wiped off or rinsed off until I used the cream silver polish. So I give this cleaner only 4 stars because I have to do a second cleaning to completely clean the haze and polish the silver. This cleaner is good for larger silver pieces but I have to wipe the large pieces with a sponge soaked with the cleaner as I have nothing large enough to dip the trays, bowls, and serving pieces in for cleaning. I recommend this cleaner for fast tarnish removal.

In my garage, it did a quick and easy job with my test silver tray; however, will now wait for warmer weather to do remaining items outside.
