Our wired doorbells require an 8 to 16V AC transformer and the Arlo Video doorbell a 16 to 24V AC transformer. Our doorbells are triggered once when an ordinary push-button is operated, so they are not triggered constantly. The Arlo Video doorbell needs to be constantly powered during the event (while is recording). As far as we know, the Arlo Video doorbell is supplied with a ‘chime connector’ module. The Chime connector is essentially a switch to separate the Arlo unit onto its own circuit from the doorbell. Allows constant power flow to the Arlo Video doorbell without the chime being included. It prevents the chime from having constant power while allowing the camera to constantly operate and record. We advise that is better to verify this information with the Arlo support team.
