Using on an old pair of outdoor Radio Shack speakers. There kinda universal, just check measurements. When used with the cover on, yes, a little muffled but definitely not bad. Especially for outdoor speakers still sound great.

These speaker covers are so great. It's my 2nd time to order them. The durablity is like no other, it hold in all types of weather. Fits over the speakers super easy as well and snug once you get it on with having the sound quality you're looking for. It's a great option for the money.

I have the Polk 8's, which are their largest outdoor speakers, and these covers are way too large. They have a draw string, however I see if using it, it would allow rain water to collect in the bottom cup that is formed. Also, being an outdoor cover, in the sun, black is not a good choice due to the heat that will be created in the sunlight. Good quality and good design, but needs some work. I am going to keep these out of necessity at this point, but will be looking for a better size/design/solution going forward.

I have the 6.5 Sound Appeal speakers. So these fit pretty well for the size of the speakers. Make sure you measure before you buy. I bought other size covers that stated 6.5 but didn’t fit my SA speakers. Covers seem durable so far. I like the flap so you don’t have to take them off to use your speakers. My only complaint is that there’s no easy way for these to cover speakers that have mounting brackets. At least with my SA speakers. So I improvised by cutting small holes on each side for the bracket screws. See the pictures. My outdoor speakers and outdoor speaker wire needed a cover. The small area where the wires connected held rain water and eventually corroded the wire. This should take care of that. Not a 5 star because the lack of fit for mounting brackets. One more thing. The small piece of velcro on the side to secure the flap back is too small. You will need to cut the strap so it's not too long (easy thing to do), but the actual patch that you attach the strap to should be just a little bigger. See pics. Also, why even include the silly bag for the covers. These are designed to stay on while you listen to music. Why not keep the bag and knock off a couple bucks from the price?

These covers work well for my Polk audio outdoor speakers. We live near the ocean salt so wanted something that was weather proof to protect the speaker while making access easy. Would definitely recommend these, only suggestions would be to replace the Velcro with a snap or magnet on the roll up portion of the front (there is only a tiny 1" piece that will likely wear out over time).

I am still happy I made the decision to buy these. They are daily exposed to SW sun, ocean air and frequent fog. They've hung on through some fierce winds and 1 atmospheric river storm. Working or relaxing outside I am enjoying the music.

These were too large for our polk atrium 8 even with drawstring pulled tight and velco attached. Returned them and bought the covers for the polk atrium 6. The smaller cover flap does cover some of the music when on, but I'm ok with that.

Got speaker covers for my speakers in the garage. These were reasonably priced and seem to be well made.
