I have owned this wireless setup for 1 week now. So far, they perform very well. There is not a noticeable loss at either end. If you are in the studio... use a good cord. This will work for most applications. The battery life is plenty. I don’t often play for 6 hours straight or more and they recharge rapidly. Super simple to set up, just press the button for a second on each one after they are plugged in and BAM done. I let the battery run down to see how it performed at low battery... Very well till the last couple of seconds when it crackled out. As with most devices you must unplug the TX and RX when you are done or they will drain

The updated review: After a bit of sleuthing I found a service email address...one that I posted down below. It took a couple days, but they responded and were very agreeable to my concerns. Full disclosure, my initial email to swiff did include an image of my issue, and the paid invoice from Amazon...so they knew I was a legit customer. I was asked to send back, via priority mail, the defective units, provide the tracking information, which I sent a copy of the ship label and the tracking number, and provide my address. I received an email within the day that my replacement is being sent via Amazon. I was originally satisfied with this unit, as it works quite well as a practice and backup for my bass. I highly recommend this item, especially after knowing the company stands behind their product. The original review: I didn't want to write this review...I bought this 6 months ago, and it worked very well. I'm a regularly playing musician, and this was getting a good workout weekly. I play bass, and finding a wireless that sounds good at low frequency is already a battle, and this was actually performing quite well. In the last week I realized the receiver was not holding a charge for more than 45 minutes. At first I thought it was me...maybe I forgot to turn the unit off, maybe my charge cable wasn't plugged in correctly. Over the course of a week I tested my charge time, made sure both units were charging to full, etc. Unfortunately, the receiver is dead...and when I play for up to 3-4 hours per gig, practice sessions, and rehearsals, I cant afford to have this unit die. It's not the most expensive unit, but I also have units from the competition, such as Getaria, and Lekato, that are older, with weaker specs, and still hold a nice long charge beyond the factory claims. My item is outside of the return window, and therefore I attempted to identify Swiff's customer service from the company website. The email addresses I found; [email protected] and [email protected] have been sent back as undeliverable. It's not an expensive piece of equipment, but I also hoped it would last more than 6 months. Buyer beware.

Here's a full review after a year of using them. Transmission and range: the audio is amazing that comes out of them for both guitar and bass. the transmission is seamless. Like there is no delay at all. The range i've been standing about 20 feet and the transmission is still spot on. Battery: Overall, the battery life is not that bad for 6 hours of play, but the battery in the receiver dies twice as fast as the transmitter even at a full charge. That's why I gave them a four star review cause of that. Portability: Portability is out of the question they're so small they can fit anywhere, and you don't even know to some on the instrument itself. Quality: The quality is more of a 70/100. The look And feel to them is really good like it feels like a genuine product and a good one at that. As most premium brands would feel, but that battery life is something to fix. That's the biggest thing holding these back. Overall: These are incredible for the price. Most likely the best set you can get for $60. if you're willing to deal with the battery life of the receiver. Then these will be the set you want to buy.

I've used the venerable Sennheiser wireless guitar system for years. The sound quality and frequency finder have been great - even to this day, but my only beef with it has been the bulky receiver unit with the fragile antennas, not to mention the bulky transmitter that I'd have to duct tape to my strap (forget about clipping it on). But because of how well the unit performed, I ignored its shortcomings. Plus, with the lockdown, I wasn't playing out at all, so I put it away. But now I'm playing out again and rejoined a band I had played with several years ago. I was going to dust off my Sennheiser when I noticed that our other guitarist was using an Xvive system. Talk about convenience! I asked him about it and he sent me a link to purchase it. But before I bought it, I decided to do a bit of research and I stumbled upon the Swiff Audio WS-50. I liked that it was half the price of the Xvive, but more importantly, it operated in the UHF frequency range! When I was growing up, UHF was pretty crowded with TV channels, but that's no longer the case as almost all those stations have moved to cable. I felt that there was less chance of interference with competing signals. As for price, one could argue that it's cheap. But wireless technology is very mature at this point, so you shouldn't have to pay a lot for it, and its price is no indication of its sound and its build quality. I've already taken my original unit to five club gigs and four rehearsals and it has performed incredibly well. No interference, no static. Perfectly quiet. And the battery life is awesome! As for purchasing a second unit, I bought that one as a backup for when I do solo acoustic gigs, but also for my classic rock band where I play both acoustic and electric. It works great for both kinds of guitars! I totally jazzed by this system! Just a bit of warning: There's another system here called the Swiff WS-70 sold by Kapama Imports. I don't think that unit is from the same manufacturer. The Swiff Audio site here on Amazon doesn't list this unit, so I'd be very careful about purchasing the WS-70. It may very well be a good system, but having used the WS-50, I can attest to its quality.

Easy to use. Came charged up and ready to go. Just plug and play. Sound quality is amazing. Can’t go wrong with this . Not so far anyway. I just got it today and went down into my studio . I was about 10 feet from the amp but I’m sure I could’ve went 40 feet or more and not lost sound quality. Very pleased so far.

I've had this wireless set for around a month or so now and I use it every day. I can't imagine going back to cables. I'm able to walk around my apartment without needing to take off my bass or unplug to take care of something across the room. That alone is enough for me to justify it. It only gets better when using it on gigs and during practice. The two pieces are smaller than a cable too and are very easy to stuff in a gig bag or even leave plugged into your (passive) bass and your pedal board. Being able to move around without a teather in rehearsals and on stage is so freeing. I haven't experienced any interference or stuttering with these. I am also the only one in my band who uses a wireless system like this, though. I might have sold my guitarist on a set and we'll have to see how two sets interact. I imagine there might be some interference. There's an included USB cable with two micro USB ends, one for each piece. It would have been nice to see USB-C on these. I've cabled it onto my board so I can plug them in to charge easily. I haven't had much issue with the battery life. They always get me through my ~3 hour rehearsals plus a few more hours of playing at home during the week. I usually charge these once maybe twice a week. Sometimes it's inconvenient because I won't charge them and then want to play, but they run out of battery so I either wait or plug in a cable. I haven't tried it but I imagine you could plug one into your board's power and have a portable battery in your pocket to plug into the one on your instrument to extend the life. At some point I might want to get a dedicated wireless pedal that can house and charge the transmitter, or some other system that's mildly more convenient but this will, at the very least, name an excellent backup when that time comes. For now, though, this is one of my favorite pieces of gear. It's fantastic especially for the price.

So far so good! I’ve been walking all over my house into different rooms and am getting great audio quality and there are only a couple of spots where I get signal cut out for an instant here and there. Thats also because there are multiple walls and metal furniture between. So the rule of thumb seems to be line of sight equals awesome, and obstacles are case by case but it’ll go through some. Thats to be expected with anything wireless like this. So far I’m loving not having to worry about tripping over a cable! Also there is no noticeable latency either! The signal is essentially instantaneous! Excited to try this out at a gig soon!

update:: I have now had the unit about a year and a half. I've been using it at gigs but charging it between every set to make sure the batteries don't die. It has worked well like this until about two weeks ago when the charging port on the receiver started going bad. It no longer makes a charging connection with most usb charging cables. I have to hold the cable and wiggle it around for a few minutes until the charging lights finally turn on. But most of the time it doesn't charge at all so I've gone back to the Getaria wireless system I carry as my backup. I'm debating on whether to replace it with another one because when it does work, it's excellent. No latency, no dropouts up to about 75 feet out, just a short battery life and they don't seem to last much longer than a year and a half before something on them starts going bad. But for the current sale price of $45 if I can get another year and a half I would consider it. ::ORIGINAL REVIEW:: I bought this to have a very easy to carry wireless for small gigs. Here's what I found. The good: Great sound quality. Sounds almost as good as my $500 Shure unit. Easy to use. Just charge, plug in and turn it on. It doesn't interfere with several 5.8Ghz systems we also use. Decent range. I usually don't go more than 30 feet from the stage and it has never cut out. The bad: The battery on the receiver only holds half a charge after 6 weeks. I've used it maybe 8 or 10 times and the first several times it lasted a full 4 hour gig with some charge to spare. But this last weekend I started with a full charge and halfway into our 3rd set, maybe 2 hours of total use, the battery on the receiver just died halfway through a song. We are a three-piece so had to finish the song with just drums and bass. Not a good look. The return period closed about 3 weeks ago so can't return it, I did not see a way to contact the manufacturer, just Amazon product support which I don't need because the return period is up, so basically I'm stuck with it. Bottom line, if you get a good one it's a great product for the price. But the real warranty is just Amazon's 30 day return period so if you get one with a problem that doesn't show up until after 30 days, you may be out of luck.

I have 2 of these units and both have given me issues. I purchased both in 2022, so I have a good frame of reference. At first they work really well with no issues, but over time, you slowly see the problems. With my first unit, the on/off button on the transmitter stops clicking which means I can't turn the unit on even with full charge. I've barely used that 2 or 3 times in the 3 years since purchasing it and once for a live performance. It seemed to have issues and ran out of charge quickly. The second unit works has no issues with the buttons, but works intermittently. There's no indication when it might stop transmitting. Both transmitter and receiver are at full charge, they connect on different channels too, but there is no input in my audio interface. I thought it might be an issue with my guitar or the audio interface, but everything works fine with a guitar cable. After a few weeks, the unit will work like normal once again, until a few months later, it will mysteriously not work again. It's frustrating as I have to keep fiddling with the units while others wait for the music to start. Finally, I've decided to get rid of both units and purchase something new. This was well recommended by Scott Uhl from a YouTube video, but didn't expect so many issues. The 2 stars are for when the unit works well, then it seems like you've got the best product in the world. Great sound, no latency and runs out after 3 to 4 hours of constant use. Unfortunately, there is no way to repair this or fix its issues.
