The uses are endless
This is my second pressure cooker. My first had a teflon coated pot and once it began to show wear I decided to get one with a stainless pot. It’s a time saver & I use it 2-3 times a week. I make everything from soups to stuffed artichokes in minutes. I also make bone broth in an hour!

Don't like it for several reasons
Power cord hard to keep in. Doesn't have an egg function. Doesn't tell you what the pressure is. I would give anything for my old GoWise unit, which they don't sell anymore.

LOVE this cooker!
I LOVE this cooker! It’s been well thought out - simple to use and consistently excellent cooking both in the slow cook and pressure cook modes. Quality construction. Nothing has ever burned or stuck to the stainless steel pot. I bought the 8 qt so I could make a large amount of chicken soup even though most of the time I’m just cooking for one. Love the removable cord, initially I was not sticking it in hard enough but once I did, it firmly attached and I don’t have another cord on my counter when I’m not using it. The lid always goes on and off easily. Cleaning is not hard and I do clean the lid thoroughly each time I use it. Customer service was excellent when I had the occasion to contact them - I talked to a friendly person who was very helpful. I would highly recommend the Zavor. It exceeded my expectations. I could not be happier! 😀

Tricky to turn on - Watch out for the plug.
It took me an hour to figure out how to get the pot to turn on. Just plug it in? NO The cord has a plug at each end - one for the pot and one for the outlet. The outlet plug was partially plugged in so I didn't notice it or check it out until I had gone through the directions twice. The plug was loose in the recessed area of the pot - where you can't see. When I pushed it all the way in (and after trying 3 different outlets) it finally came on. I don't think it is as tight as it should be. I cooked a pot of beans for my first use and they were good and the pot did not add extra heat to my kitchen. On my 2nd attempt, I wanted to make Chile. I had forgotten about the dual plug and could not turn it on. (It appeared to be attached.) I just got out my soup pot and cooked the chili. After I cooked and ate my chili, I examined the Zavor again and remembered the loose plug and shoved it into place. Then it came on, but I was through cooking for the day. If you need help developing patience, this is the multi-cooker for you.

Great multicooker
I owned this cooker before under a different name. That one was lost in a fire. I just had to find it again, because it is a great multicooker. The controls are easy to understand and use. I read reviews and understood why people were unhappy. They simply didn't know how to use the cooker. It is super versatile and can cook almost anything. I highly recommend its purchase.

Second multicooker from zavor
I purchased my first multicooker about 11 years ago from Fagor which was taken over by zavor, I then purchased a 4 quart zavor multicooker because I loved the 6 quart, I just purchased a new 6 quart because after 11 years I needed a new one. I like the zavor because I don’t need a lot of presets. It is very easy to use and versatile. I have purchased so many as gifts as well.
