Since having surgery for ruptured discs in my neck I've had upper back pain. I've taken Celebrex, Naproxen, Ibuprofen, and Flexeril with some relief. Physical therapy helped some but the TEN's therapy gave me some real relief. I saw this little unit here at Amazon and decided to give it a try. It is TINY! When I opened the box I admit I was thinking it might be returned or be a waste of money. Not so! Popped those batteries in and assembled the unit in 30 seconds. It is powerful! Thought I'd probably need the full strength of the unit. Not so! At about one half the power of the unit I get the most pleasant pulsing, alternating, massaging sensation. I can attach the two electrodes to my upper back and hang the included lanyard around my neck and go about my business at home with sweet relief of my pain. I know that it's hard to believe but this little inexpensive unit gives me as much relief as the unit they used at the physical therapy/rehab clinic!! I am thrilled with this purchase and would recommend it!

This TENS machine is very compact and has very low strength but is somewhat helpful in controlling back pain. I found that attaching the electrodes was a real pain as it is difficult to attach them to the back properly. The last time I had used a TENS machine was for knee pain and as is obvious that is a much easier attachment. The attachment problem is not the fault of the machine, the low strength of machine is why I cannot give it 5 stars. Packaging is adequate and shipping is adequate also.

I bought this unit because someone said he only turned it up half way and that was as high as he could go. I turned it up half way and could barely feel it. At max it's not even close to the one's at the Chiro's office.

I chose it for its nice streamline size and because I could not find the one I usually buy. I have bought several TENS units in this price range and have never seen one so cheaply made. It turned on but took forever to figure out how to get the impulse - it will not work if it thinks the pads are too close or far about. It uses a unique type of wire that is only sold by the supplier. It only operates two channels, not four. The highest setting if VERY weak. The company said they could not take it back even though I had it for just a day; the customer service rep was quick to tell me that this product is what the Veterans Administration buys for its patients, which really is sad. I would not want anyone to buy this. I can't believe this company can get insurance reimbursement, sometimes in the hundreds of dollars for such a simply made and cheaply made product. Sorry if I sound so critical, but I have never been so angry with an on-line purchase. To be fair I should say that after several phone call I did get a refund although not their normal policy.

I did not see any warning labels about certain health issues on the site and when I received it I just sent it back. Never used it. It might work great for some though. It certainly sounded good! I just wish others would post these warning labels about certain health issues in the description.

Smaller than the big versions with just 2 pads but it's small and can hang from your neck with the attached lanyard. Great for folks who have pain they want to manage but need to stay mobile. I have a bigger version that I use with 4 prongs that works a little better, but it's not mobile like this one. I personally love the mobile aspect.

I returned it the very next day, it did not hold a charge, at the highest setting I felt nothing. Very disappointed that it did not work. I could not feel anything with this unit and am still looking for a good tens unit to relieve my pain at a reasonable price. .
