I have always wanted to read the book that inspired PLANET OF THE APES, i have always been looking for the 1975 print copy of the book and Thankfully i have got the 1975 book, which is the exact same book that i have purchased for which the seller had stated 100%! It's a magnificent masterpiece for i am so much looking forward to reading the book. Yes it was a used copy of which it was in Excellent condition from the front, back cover and the contents the pages of the book of the age of the book 1975, the condition was stated Good but it's in Excellent Condition for me personally throughout. If you like or Love the PLANET OF THE APES i personally highly recommend this book most definitely, hopefully you'll purchase from a Finest Seller of which i had purchased from. Get this book that's all i can highly recommend ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good to see how it all started! *by M***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 July 2018* I was born in 1958, so I was probably ten years old when I was taken to the cinema by my father to see the first Planet of the Apes film. I remember that it made a big impression on me at the time; particularly the twist at the end. I'm not sure why its taken me so long to read the original book, but I'm glad I eventually did! Yes, there are differences between the book and the film but not great ones, and it is clear that this one book also inspired the film sequels. It was refreshing to see that the author had some scientific knowledge and used it to good effect. As a scientist myself, it irritates me, reading, or watching, science fiction which is literally pure fiction, totally ignoring well established scientific facts and presenting scenarios which cannot happen. Yes, there is a place for this kind of writing, it's called fantasy.If you are a fan of the films, I strongly recommend this book. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and doesn't disappoint.
