If I were under the age of 12, people would say I had "sensory issues" But since I'm not, they just say I'm "picky" or "very particular" about how things feel/smell.I just got a new Google Nexus 7 (2013) and while I love how thin and light it is, even in my small hands, it feels like I'm going to drop it constantly. I wanted a good case that wasn't ugly or cheap. I have had a lot of tablets and therefore, a lot of cases. I usually like the rotating type that have a cover but I decided I wanted something durable for those times when my husband doesn't notice I was reading in bed and decides to make the bed and my tablet goes flying. Thankfully (or not), that doesn't happen too often.I love everything about this case. It is silicone rubber, so it has a good grip, but it's almost silky in texture. It stays clean (I bought the turquoise) with just a little wipe down with a damp rag. It's super easy to put on, but it grips the tablet like an old married couple on one of those rope bridges that go across a craggy ravine. It's easy to take off again if you want to run it under some warm water to give it a good scrub.The best part is, it gives me a nice grip on my tablet and protects the screen (the lip keeps it from lying flat on any surface if you happen to put your tablet face down) but without being bulky. It makes it really easy to find the power and volume buttons and all of the holes for the speakers, chargers, headphones, etc. match up. The top even has a little slit that helps the speaker noise project forward so you can hear it better.I'd definitely recommend this if you're looking for something protective without feeling like you're carrying a brick around with you. Well made, good quality, great price.

It's beautiful, comfortable to hold, easy to put on and take off, very sturdy and protective, and comes in several colors (mine is a gorgeous teal). What's not to like? My old Kindle was broken at the corners and I didn't want the same to happen to my Nexus 7 tablet. I held out until I found a cover that looked like an elegant version of a car tire but didn't cost as much. I don't know where other people have been keeping theirs but my cover has been looking very neat for weeks now despite my nosy cats. However, I agree it would be very easy to clean. I can also locate it easily in the house, a big bonus. The on-off button works even better under the cover. Doesn't heat up when charging. Just make sure your Nexus is the type with a lens hole in the back (apparently there are two types of Nexus 7).

This case fits great! Literally like a glove! The rubber feel of the case makes it a lot easier for my 6yr old to hold, especially when carrying multiple things like kids do. She is also in love with the color!! Fantastic product!

I purchased this case for my new Nexus 7 (2013). This case is absolutely perfect. Once I put the tablet in this case, I can hear the audio better; it's easier to hold the device in my hand; it's easier to press the on/off switch button; it's easier to adjust volume; and it gives real good protective cushion to the thin gadget. I bought a different case before I found this on Amazon. I wish I knew about this product before I wasted $25 for the other case. Strongly recommended.

Great grip. Beefed up and solid edges. Pleasing color (teal). This case feels very durable; I'd be shocked if a drop resulted in any damage. But, there are a few things that could be better: pulling down the notification tab is hindered (yet expected with a case like this), and the top speaker port is flimsy (not terrible though).

This case is on my child's tablet. Given that she is only 7, her tablet has taken a beating, but it still looks brand new and the case does too. It fits snugly and does not comprise the viewing of the screen or sound. We have had this case for about 6 months with no issues. We also have 3 other Bobj cases for other tablets, which we have had for over 1.5 years and no issues. The case does add some extra weight, but I believe that makes it less prone to dropping. Also it has a nice rubber feel, so it does not slip easily. On occasions it will pick up lint but wipes off easily with damp cloth. I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone with children.

Overall a good case but it makes it impossible to pull down the menu without a little frustration/trying 3 times or pressing the case up and away from the edge of the screen.

I own two of these and they have survived intentional throws and accidental drops to the floor by grade school girls at tantrum time. I wouldn't want to experiment, but the case is awesome. It has speaker "ports" which project the sound toward the listener and not away. My little ones had that problem on their old tablets and it was very annoying for everyone else in the room. This case will not have that problem.Buttons work very well and have a tactile feel through the case. No problems with sound, or cameras.I also use the CHOE Qi Wireless Charging Pad successfully with this case on the Nexus 7.

I wasn't sure which case to get for my new Nexus 7 tablet, but I knew I wanted something that was protective, colorful, and practical for a family of 4. This case has met all my expectations. Yes it makes the tablet heavier, but that's because its protecting it, its easier to hold the tablet because of the high edges. My family and I love it! I was thinking I might get another colour, just to change it up. This was a smart purchase and it arrived lightning fast, I couldn't believe how fast! You won't regret this purchase,
