I use these pottery tools for pumpkin carving (see pic). There are a lot of options depending on your use. These are great and I have used them for carving other items as well ... like watermelon. You have to be careful with the thinner tools on heavy projects, but these are good quality tool. Great value!!

They look nice, easy to use and are a good size. Not sure about durability the pin tool broke already.

I got this tool box for my sculpting class. It works really well. There are several packages you can buy that are listed on Amazon. You just need to look at the contents and buy the one that is best suited for you. I have no used all of the items yet. But they are easy to clean and reassign back into the closable plastic box.

I just restarted a throwing class after having not worked with clay in decades. I wanted a wide assortment of tools to experiment with but didn't want to spend a fortune. I wasn't expecting amazing quality, and I was OK with that. This set is pretty great for my needs. There are all the basics you need and a ton of little extras. I would say that this set is significantly better for a hand builder or a sculpter than someone who's primarily throwing on the wheel, but there is something for everyone, and the price is hard to beat. For the most part the tools are well made and of a much higher quality than I expected for the price. My only complaint with the kit is that the trimming tools aren't very sharp at all. I have had to purchase a higher quality trimmer from a name brand (less than $5) for finishing the base of my pieces rather than fight to try to sharpen the trimmers that the set came with. They work fine on wet clay, but aren't smooth enough on leather hard clay for me to like working with. Overall this set is a good value and nice if your looking at dabbling across a range of clay arts.

I love everything about this product. The tools are durable, there is a great selection inside, handles are easy to work with when carving. The case is portable enough I can take it with me when traveling, I’m completely satisfied and would highly recommend it to anyone working with clay, fondant, etc. the tools are easy to clean as well. Great value item!

I recieved this product in a timely manner. It comes inside a clear box, neatly organized; everything can be stored away easily. The variety of tools gives the user options to work clay. I see it as a great value for the price. I tried to bend the trimming tools with my hands, and they didn't budge. As long as you're not too rough with them, they should last a while. The sponge is not the cheapest nor the best material, however, it should hold up temporarily. There is a blade in one of the tools inside the bags, so be careful not to cut yourself.

I'm personally pretty intermediate when it comes to ceramics and I got this for a wheel throwing class. I put all stars but I wouldn't recommend for beginners because having all these tools can be overwhelming. Otherwise great product. Love the cute thank you note. Loved how they we're separated and not thrown in willy-nilly. Everything feels like great quality, the wooden handles feel smooth. I don't remember if it shows it in their pictures but the ribbed metal bean guy doesn't have any ribs so prepare for that and it is easy to get one that is.

This is amazing for the price !!! Some tools are not that sturdy but what more can you ask for. And it comes with a thank you note and a box!!! It made my day lol.
