**UPDATE - I just wanted to let y'all know - this monitor is STILL alive and kicking in October 2021! I have had to replace the charging cord once (no big deal), and have purchased an additional camera to go with this monitor - everything still works like a charm. Still super happy with this purchase!** I woke up at 2am back in early March 2019, and couldn't see my baby on the monitor. I panicked. And then calmed myself down and told myself not to panic until I checked things out. I walked across the house, up the long flight of stairs and down the hallway holding my breath. First time moms have all the best panic attacks. Did he get out of his crib and hurt himself? Did someone come in and take him?? Nope, he had just rolled into the corner of the crib, out of view of my old camera. Butthead. I knew right then and there I needed a movable camera. So instead of going back to bed, I went into the office, opened up Amazon on my computer - and still couldn't find a camera with solidly decent reviews. But a friend of mine suggested this camera (a fellow first time mom who was ALSO up at 2:30am) and I thought I would give it a shot. I have not regretted it once since I purchased it on March 3rd. It does a complete view around the room, up/down, side to side. I can make sure the windows are shut, or that the chair was put back, or that the trash can was emptied, then go right back to staring at my peaceful kiddo in his crib. I had one small issue with the charging cord, a manufacturing defect (which happens with electronics from time to time, no big deal) but the seller sent me a new cord in 2 days flat. Excellent customer service; I am looking to purchase the additional camera when it is available. Thanks again!

This monitor has been the best we’ve ever had. It’s small and compact. Pros: The rotating camera actually works. Very seamless movement. It obviously can’t do a complete 360 degree turn in any direction, but it has helped us really keep tabs on our toddler when she gets out of her bed at night. The picture is clear and the audio works well. We haven’t tried many of the other features yet, but we’ve had it for several months now. I also like the hook style stand on the back. I can look my finger through it and carry lots of other things with it. Our old Motorola just had a stick stand, and I dropped it quite often. Small detail, but it’s made a big different when holding a toddler, stuffed animals, and a water bottle up to the second floor. Cons: It does lose connection sometimes. It’s usually only for a few seconds, and if we move it even just a foot, it will usually reconnect. We haven’t had it just flat out lose connection all together. It’s more like a blip. It happens most often when we’re across the house. Every monitor we have had does this, and I will say that this monitor does it less often compared to those. It just seems like an issue no matter what model you have. Lastly, there doesn’t seem to be a quick way to change the volume. You have to go into the menu and click on volume while I think most monitors just have this on their key pad. We don’t alter the volume much though, so this isn’t a huge problem for us. We’ve had a Motorola monitor, another Amazon monitor, and a plain old VTech audio monitor. This one takes the cake in all aspects. We will absolutely order another one of these in the future for our new baby. I’ve recommended this monitor to numerous people and I will continue to do so!

I’ve been using this HelloBaby monitor for a few months, and it’s been a game-changer. The camera’s pan, tilt, and zoom functions are incredibly smooth, letting me keep an eye on every corner of the room with just a button press. The 3.2” LCD screen is clear, and I especially appreciate the night vision, which gives a surprisingly sharp image even in total darkness. The monitor is reliable, easy to use, and has a strong signal throughout our home. Highly recommended for any parent looking for peace of mind!

The product itself is great and I would definitely recommend. I ordered it along with an extra camera as I have two young children in different bedrooms. Unfortunately when this order arrived, one of the cameras was not working. It was a bit of a pain getting a replacement and I was told different things by two customer service reps. I had also paid for priority shipping so it was delivered before going on holiday to use abroad. I didn't get refunded for this which was annoying as because of the fault, I didn't have use of the second camera in which case I wouldn't have paid extra for delivery. However everything was eventually sorted and I was sent a replacement and it is all working perfectly now. I would have given a 5 star rating if I didn't have these issues which the next buyer is unlikely to have so I would definitely recommend the product, especially if you need two cameras. I had a Motorola unit previously and went through 3 extra cameras and still never got 2 to connect at the same time. The image quality is excellent both on and off night vision and it has the option to view camera 1 or camera 2 OR automatically scan between the two which is ideal to have all the options. We generally leave it plugged in so haven't tested the battery life really. The range is perfect for our home, it works perfectly in our garden, something the Motorola wasn't capable of. Overall it is a great system and very good value for money considering the price.

UPDATE: I wanted to update and add that I have had connectivity and charger issues with the monitor I wrote about here. This one I wrote about lost range and would barely work down the hallway, and the replacement charger port broke from normal use. With both issues the company has been SO helpful and replaced the monitor for me quickly. I really appreciate it and they have been ao kind about it. This is my second time buying this monitor and camera combo. Unfortunately my toddler got a hold of the first screen and must have smashed it around because the charger piece fell into the screen and would no longer charge. I noticed the model has slightly changed with the new one being a little bit heavier and thick, and the interface being modified but having the same features. Overall I really enjoy this set! I used my first one since November 2022 and as I said, it is our fault that it stopped working. It's really easy to set up and add more cameras to. I love the auto on feature for when my toddler starts making noise.

Oh my, we are so happy with this! We’ve put off buying a monitor for our son because we lived in a condo when he was first born (so we really didn’t need one) and due to how costly many of the monitors are. Now that we’re in a house, we needed a monitor to see and hear our 9 month old who is constantly waking during naps to sit, try to stand, chew on the crib, etc. From reading other reviews, this seemed perfect for our needs and budget. Let me tell you, it does exactly that! The picture/screen is clear (even from a far distance - we had to mount it pretty far from his crib due to how the walls are setup in his room but the zoom feature gives us the perfect picture), the features it comes with are great I.e. the two way talk mode, alert mode if Baby is crying/making noise louder than a stir, playing lullaby’s, etc. (this is more than we even need/wanted (we literally just wanted/needed to see and hear him when in the other room/watching a movie etc.) but I’m so happy it has the capabilities in case we end up needing them down the road), the screen part of the monitor works pretty far from the camera/wherever it’s placed (we tested it and it made it all the way into our garage and outside in our yard), and it’s super simple to use and install. I’ve read that people aren’t happy that it isn’t on wifi and that it’s not cordless, we personally didn’t want something on wifi because friends said that theirs often cut out and then you have to reprogram the camera etc. so for us, its great that it plugs into the wall (we tacked the cord to the wall so it disappears into the wall/room). We were constantly running into the room to check on him at night and during naps because we couldn’t see or hear him/we would hear him and not know what he was doing lol and this is just perfect and gives us such peace of mind! If you’re looking for a super high tech, super clear, multi-function, super costly camera, than this isn’t for you lol. But if you’re looking for a budget friendly, easy to use, just need to see and hear your little one with only a few clicks, than this is for you! So if you’re on the fence about it, don’t be, it’s awesome and we’ll be getting additional cameras to connect to it for his playroom and the basement when needed. Wish we bought it much, much sooner! We love this monitor!! Loved it so much we bought a second one when we had another baby. Very far reach throughout the house, decent enough video quality, two way sound, great quality for price, and we love that you can set it to only light up when they make noise. Would recommend!!!

I'm writing this review one year after I started using the monitor. If I had written this review right after I got the monitor it I would have given it four stars. However, the monitor no longer holds a charge. It will be plugged in and charging for hours but then it will die after being unplugged and on for 15 minutes. The warranty is conveniently only good for a year so of course there's nothing I can do now but buy another monitor. Also, the charger does not stay plugged into the monitor well. I thought I originally got a faulty one so I spoke with customer service and they did very easily send me a new one, unfortunately it had the same issue. So the charger has to be plugged in just right or it won't charge at all. A couple of other small things which aren't a big deal on there own are that the monitor is extremely bright, even on the lowest setting, and the volume is really loud, also even on the lowest setting. It's nice to have a loud monitor so you can hear your child of course but it would be nice if you had the option to turn it a little lower. It was a very decent monitor until it just completely stopped holding a charge after one year.

I had been shopping on Amazon for the longest time, and had bought hundreds of items, ranging from a few dollars to a thousand odd dollars or so. Never before had I encountered such service from a merchant. I had bought the baby monitor with the intend to use in my new house. However, the house is large and comprises of 5 level in total. The structure of the house is quite complex, therefore I’m not surprised that the signal isn’t the strongest at certain nooks and crannies. The rest of the features for this baby monitor is excellent. However, due to the less than perfect connection (which I felt was due to the structure of my house rather than the quality of the receiver), we decided to return it. When we requested for a refund, the merchant was very prompt in assisting. However my local post office was giving us some trouble due to the fact that we declared the item as hazmat (due to the lithium battery housed inside the monitor) and the postal guys refused to accept. I wrote to the merchant asking for help to inform Amazon to pick up instead and I was floored by their reply. They told me that instead of going through so much trouble to return it, they are gifting it to us instead and will refund me in full. This is really the most amazing customer service that I had received from any of the Amazon merchants. Support them, go ahead make that purchase with Loya Shopping. You won’t go wrong, because you know they are there for you when u need.

This monitor is the best I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned about five in the past seven years. I’ve only bought the top brands in the past and ive always been let down. Some stop charging some have buttons that stick some freeze, and as we all know baby monitors are something as parents we rely on especially during the night hours. I’ve had this monitor for about a week and it has The best features. Non-USB charging which means you don’t have to worry about the USB port getting disconnected and Janky. It has the VOX feature where you can have the sound on but not the brightness of the screen. It’s got alarms it’s got lullabies it tilts and zooms it’s lightweight it’s the perfect size… Overall this monitor is an amazing unit. I’ve bought Panasonic Motorola VTEC and safety first and they’ve all let me down in one way or another. I will be updating if anything happens with this monitor but I just don’t see anything bad happening.

Wir sind mit dem Hello Baby Babyphone vollauf zufrieden, die Lieferung erfolgte zügig, die Bedienungsanleitung konnte innerhlab weniger Stunden auf Nachfrage beim Hersteller auch in deutsch erhalten werden. Ansonsten ist aber auch die komplette Bedienung sehr intuitiv. Die Kamera ist super und kann sehr leicht über den Bilschirm gesteuert und so eingestellt werden, damit man beste Sicht hat. Die Kamera hat 2 Stufen in den man zoomen kann, für uns total ausreichend. Mehr Stufen oder genaues Ran- und Rauszoomen geht zwar nicht, da es wie gesat nur raus- und ranzoomen gibt, für uns ist das allerding durch die flexible Positionierung der Kamera überhaupt kein Nachteil. Die Bidqualität tagsüber finden wir sehr gut, zudem kann man wie eine Art Walky Talki auch über das Babyphone sprechen, ab und an hilft das schon, wenn das Kind kurz die Stimme hört ohne das man tatsächlich im Raum sein muss. Stimmqualität passt für uns demnach auch. Die Nachsicht ist für den Preis ok, man sieht gut auch im Dunkeln das Kind und seine Bewegungen und der Bewegungmelder funktioniert auch bestens, so das wenn die Kamera im Standby ist, sie bei Bewegung und Geräuschen aktiviert wird. Die verschiedenen Lieder die über das Phone abgespielt werden können, ist ein nettes Goody, es gibt auch noch versch. Eintellungen wie sensibel das Phone auf Geräusche und Bewegung reagieren soll, gut fanden wir, das es deshalb trotz der sensibelsten Stufe nciht gleich anspringt, wenn vor dem Kinderzimmer jemand entlang läuft. Fazit: Wir sind sehr zufrieden und würden aufgrund des Preis-Leistungsverhältnisses das Babyphone von Hello Baby weiterempfehlen
