Old Travel Tray 2.0 (Black)

Product is very well made. Perfect for our cross country drive and even our in town trips. So nice to have for snacks and activities to keep little ones distracted. It works even for legos in the car!!! This thing saved us from having a frustrated 3 year old on our 21 hour road trip! It made things so easy. The only thing I’d might change about it is the size of it. It fits our Chico car sits perfectly on top of the arm rest but our evenflo car seat is too big for the tray to go over both arm rest at the same time, Minor issue. For our long trip I just use the Chico carseat.

I purchased this for my 14 year old son who has CP and Epilepsy and is wheelchair bound. He has very little use of his hands but always seems to knock stuff off of the tray of his wheelchair, even with velcro, he manages to break things. We've had to buy portable DVD players yearly. This tray was one of the best things we could have ever gotten for him! He can now watch is videos and play with toys and not knock them off! Thank you!

I got a couple of these for the kids for a road trip. They assembled easily enough and not only did they have lots of storage pockets on the sides, they also had little areas on the tray itself that were good for pencils and crayons and the like. The only real issue I had was in getting the side and rear walls to stand up well. Even with the on-tray pencil cubby walls, the back especially didn't want to stand well, which made holding the elastic band for holding their tablets not particularly useful. (I assume that's what they are for. It's what the picture makes it look like it is used for, so that's the purpose we put it to.) Not a big deal. Just a note in case that's important to you.

Super clever, functional, and most importantly, useful travel tray for kids. My daughter is 6 now, and I wish I'd found this tray 3 years ago, because she's just aging out of it; she's almost too big. But never mind that... It has multiple purposes, such as a comfortable strap that goes around the kid so the tray stays in place. It has sections for a drink, toys etc., as well as a sturdy way to hold up an iPad or similar device. It's washable, larger than a lap (which is very good) and it can be easily removed from the kid without having to stop the car etc. The company is terrific; I accidentally ordered the wrong color and they shipped me a new one, no questions asked. I recently purchased another travel product from D Moose, which is better for older kids (hangs from the front passenger headrest). They make really durable products and I highly recommend them!

...for the very strong chemical odor! I'm not usually sensitive to off-gassing and chemicals (I confess I don't always wash my kids' clothes before wear), but it is offensive on this product and is pretty bad even from a distance, so much so that I would have felt like an irresponsible parent for subjecting my toddler to it. I left it outside overnight before a transatlantic trip and that didn't do much and after 3 weeks with it on the plane and on the road, the smell is still present but just not as strong. Other than that, the product appears well made except for one piece of velcro that is coming loose, is aesthetically nice and unobtrusive, small enough to use on the plane as well as in the car. My 2.5 year old used it only once during our 3-week trip - she enjoyed it when she did use it, but I don't know if she stopped because she was bothered by the odor or if it is because she's the type who doesn't like stuff in her way.

This has saved a lot of hassle. I transfer my Grands once a week during lunch, so they eat it in the car. I used to have to tuck bags of veggies, nuts, fruits, sandwiches, drinks all around the sides of their car seats and it was difficult for them to get to it all. They are so excited to have these and said "look Nana there's a special place for everything" (the little compartments). And now they have cup holders!!! Getting the belts around their backs is a little tricky as that has to be done after the car seat belts are fastened, but it's so worth the little hassle. Looking forward to trying it the entertainment factor on longer trips. I was doubtful when I bought them, but I love them!

It’s definitely sturdy, and durable for eating and activities in the car. You have to make sure it’s centered securely on the arms of the car seat but that is nothing really to complain about. My daughter has used this tray for many months now and steps on it getting in and out of the car and it’s still sturdy. The only set back is that the material can be wiped off but holds stains and food in the grain of the material. It would be cool to have a smooth surface that could be wiped off with a wet cloth more easily. I make due with cleaning the tray as best I can, even though some things are just in the grain and harder to get out. Overall based on all the trays I’ve seen and the reviews I have seen, plus my own experience, I’d buy it again and it’s cost effective to replace, especially given how long it has lasted so far with my child beating it up!

Was excited to use this item for our family travel. My 3 year old saw the cartoon animation on the tray and used a crayon to draw on it. I grabbed a baby wipe to wipe the crayon marks away and the tray drawings came off! The tray is made out of cheap paper cardboard material and is not meant to get wet at all. Children always spill liquids so doesn't make sense that the tray doesn't withstand water.

The tray is sturdy as stated in thr description, it doesn't come folded in half, so no creases on it. (See photo of me holding it with one hand while the kid's bottle sits on it). My son is 13 months and I was worried he would be too small for it, I guess it depends on how high are the car seat's armrests as well. In our case it works nicely (and will get better once he is a bit taller). He could finally enjoy his toys and books without them falling on the floor, that's a huuuuuge relief!!!! I got the red model, 2.0, which has the pockets on the sides. It has 2 buckles, left and right, so it's good to unbuckle whichever side. Fits well around my Safety 1st car seat.

Excellent product. Multi functional and creates less clutter. Kid loves it!
