I wanted to buy a good quality affordable intercom system that was easily expandable and of good quality. I had purchased the WULOO Solar Driveway Alarm and I was pleased with the construction, instruction manual and easy set up so I purchased these. Overall, I am satisfied with the build quality and the easy set up. Their manuals are excellent and give step by step instructions. They are not your typical hard to understand manual. I can recommend these with confidence. My wife was able to set her station up once we expanded to 5 intercoms. These are supposed to have a 1 mile range but I would not expect that unless they are line of sight with nothing between you. If you are in a fire tower on a mountain and you home is in the valley there may be a possibility. LOL Remember, you are limited by certain types of construction as to your actual range. Our home is 1800 sq/ft and we have no problems. These can also be plugged into a power bank if you want to use these out in the yard and you don't have an AC power source. Voice quality is what you would expect out of a speaker this small. Think walkie-talkies when you were a kid. Voice Quality is good, not high fidelity excellent. They are worth the price. This works great, it is basically a "base station" type FRS/GMRS radio. You can use it if you have USB Power available like a power bank. It has decent range. However looking at the manual Channel 1 and Channel 22 are swapped Channel 1 is 22 and channel 22 is 1 in the band it uses. Not a problem unless you do not know about the channels if you think it is broken it is not just that some how they swapped the channels for whatever reason. It uses CTCSS codes and some DCS squelch codes as well to limit it to radios that can use those features. There is 99 codes I HIGHLY suggest you read the manual online as the product does not come with one so you know what to do if you use an FRS/GMRS Radio as one of the transceivers. It has been very useful for the time I have had it and it helps me stay in touch with my mom. The monitor feature is great if you need to listen to a room or a child. The only cons are that of the channel swap and lack of manual with the product. Pros: Long distance, easy set up once you know the ins and outs, compatibility with the FRS/GMRS radios, Monitor feature, VOX feature, call button. Easy on the eyes with the channel display and a lit up talk button to see in a dark room.

Old folks, hearing not what it used to be, bodies not what they used to be, moving into a condo with two flights of stairs. Not the smartest move! But we WERE smart enough to buy this three-way intercom system! Love the plug-in-and-use ease of installation! Also that they can be moved around to any location with an electrical outlet! Good product, good price, good for more than just old folks! And - get this - if young folks ever move in next door, we can give them one, along with the responsibility for US! After all, these intercoms WILL operate through a fire wall! Save some steps - buy this easy-to-use intercom system! (And, if you sell your house down the road, you can simply unplug and remove! (Not like the installed-in-the-wall monsters that tell your buyers "this house has been around a long, long time!")

The wireless intercom by Wuloo is a good intercom, but far from great. Firstly, after using it for about a month, the rubberized 'talk' button has jammed in the talk position 2-3 times and I literally had to poke at it until it unjammed. All the time my wife was speaking and she was of course muffled and broken up...and had to repeat once it unjammed. Other than the fact that I"m expecting these units to jam permanently at some point in the future, they are good otherwise. Decent sound, clarity is comparable to walkie-talkies (which these basically are) You can select various channels like on a CB (for those of you that can remember CBs) These units can also be set to a sub-channel for added security, but remember people...you still are broadcasting on an unsecure air wave. SO keep private and critical info off the air. Lit talk button make it easy to reply in the dark, however finding the call button (which is unlit) makes it hard to call. For some reason the LED panel constantly shows the channel and sub-channel 24-7...which will allow anyone in your home to go home and set theirs to listen in if they are within 2 miles of you (which is unlikely for repairmen or delivery guys) But keep that in mind that you're basically showing everyone that looks at your unit...how to listen in. I do recommend these units with the above caveats. ********************************************************************************** More since using. Ok the devices held up so far, but the major problem with this product is the 'one adjustment' for both talk and listen. The intercom need 2 separate adjustments to be a much better device. The only other gripe is there is a lag between pressing the talk and the device being able to transmit. So I recommend that once you get an answer...press the talk, wait a couple of seconds before you talk...and the same goes for whoever is on the other end.

Anyone who isn't happy with this product probably didn't deal with this companies customer service. I received the items (3 in a box) and 1 of the units had an issue with the microphone - the sound was all muffled and quiet and you couldn't understand the person on the other end. I contacted the company from the contact info in the box (very easy to find). I got a response from them within 30 minutes. After explaining my issue, I had a replacement in my hands within 48 hours from sending that first email. Now they all work GREAT! I have them between 3 floors in my house. Not a huge distance but there are walls and floors in the way. Very easy to setup and comes complete with everything you need. Plus good instructions on how to setup and use. AMAZING customer service! Rarely have I seen such great customer service. This is what gets them the 5 star rating more than anything else. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a reasonably priced 3 way intercom system for shorter distances (less than half a mile). I don't know how well they perform past that.
