PERFECT FIT FOR 2010 Mazda 3
It was time to do the rear struts on my 2010 Mazda 3. These KYB dampeners were the perfect fit. These are universal dampeners so they aren’t EXACTLY like OEM and that’s okay. I only used the dampener itself and not the plastic protector cover. I reused my old one and the new dampener fit in it perfectly as you can see in the photos. The KYB black protector is shorter so I didn’t use it

The parts work great. The black plastic dust sleeves are a little shorter than the OEM but work just fine when installed on the car. The bump stops I had to put a small notch in the top to get the dust covers on no big deal. All in all everything works great. I would recommend these if you are needing.

Put on lowered 2011 Mazda 3
Perfect! Only way this could be improved is if there was a way to open the dust cover and then latch it closed. Tough to remove from bump stop after sticking it through. PSA: If you are putting these on a gen 2 Mazda 3 and are lowered, install these on your shock and make sure your shocks aren't riding on the stops. My car is lowered on H&R sport springs with Konis, and when I did that install I didnt buy a new kit such as this one so I had to put my old bump stops back on that were crumbling apart, and didn't think to check the clearance when I install the knew ones. H&R has a technical specs sheet (as most manufacturers will) for this springs and cutting OEM bump stops was not required for the Mazda 3. I had to cut off (from the bottom up) to the top of the 3rd bumper in order to have enough regular suspension travel but not bottom out. I did this while still on the car and the longest part was cutting the cover so make it fit the larger rings. If you dont want to do this, check out the bump stops made by FatCat Motorsports or Ground Control. I have GC's on my front and they work well. The KYB kit is temporary until I order new rear shocks/GC stops

Watch YouTube videos on how to install these. It wasn’t the easiest but I got it to work and the second one was a lot quicker.

Fits great on my 06 Mazda 5
It fit well and the sleeve was a little shorter but would have worked just fine covering the piston. I just used the old one. It held onto the sponge fine.

Save with Used - Like New
Save with Used - Like New. NOT LIKE NEW....Very used part. Was returned. My car part with 300,000 miles looked better. Spend the few dollars more and get the NEW ONE. Received a new one and looks very good. A little hard getting the hard foam in place of the plastic tube but will go in.

Está más largo que el original mazda 3 2013 MEX. i touring aún así el amortiguador tiene bastante carrera por lo que si le quedaron en un amortiguador Bogue gas.
