This is an excellent little driver, I wish I had bought it a long time ago. I didn't realize how handy one would be until I started using it. I did a lot of research, but kept coming back to this one. I thought the convertible grip would be of little value, but I find myself switching back and forth to suit the situation, and its very easy to do. The one negative is the charging plug is the old style that has to be oriented correctly, but its really not an issue. The charge holds up very well anyway, and it has power to spare. Re-hanging some outdoor brackets, it unscrewed and reattached about 12 1-1/4" screws, and 2 2" lag bolts that I honestly didn't think it could handle. all on one charge! The only question is one of durability, it seems solid enough, so time will tell. TM

Good: has a lot of power for tough jobs (but not professional work), Not too heavy when holding for short periods of time, Bits stay firmly in the driver when used, good battery life. Light is a nice brightness but a little weak. The unit adjust to straight handle or an offset angle for better grip and pressing force Bad: WAAYYY too much torque, there needs to be a lot better control over the power of this tool. It's pretty hard to keep the bit in the screws while using it. Grip and paddle to engage is a little clunky, the ergonomics cold use some work. Light is a little weak but this may be to save battery life. Weight is fine but unbalanced towards the front. Using this on a ladder all day would get heavy but I don't see it being used for pro work. Takes up a lot of space, must be recharged and has no way of holding your bits. These make it tough to compare against a high end ratchet screwdriver Overall: I recommend this over a manual screwdriver but because of the torque issues I would suggest a higher end ratchet screwdriver over this. But I got this on sale ($22) and for that price you can have 3 of these vs some of the best ratchet screwdrivers so its tough to call. I would say for simple homeowner tasks this is lovely. For pro's or people doing delicate work you will want something else

I absolutely love this electric screwdriver. Incredible battery life and was shocked how much torque it has. Very highly recommended. Only complaint is the D-shaped charging port. Wish they would upgrade to C-shape like most things use these days. They do ship it with a charger so it's really not a problem. Bought my daughter one and she loves it as well.

Works well and seems durable

Initially I was going to request a replacement, as I couldn't get the device to operate when engaging the trigger (full battery). Not specified in the directions, but in the Amazon product troubleshooting guide, depress the trigger and hold. Release and WALA! works as designed. A relatively medium duty power screwdriver that one would expect from SKIL. My suggestion to SKIL is clarify initial operating instructions more clearly to demonstrate the above. Recommend.

I have purchased two of these-(8/21 & 9/23) and they have held up with no issues. The bit selection or accessories and it being rechargeable makes it a good buy, will need that 1/4 & 5/16 combo Malco adapter bit. It's perfect for HVAC or any mechanical field, where removing quite a few screws or bolts on equipment or panels is necessary. It is light weight, can fit in a small tool pouch and pivots straight taking less space. Ohh, it's not strong as a drill or impact but gets the job done! It has a light, so if your lighting is not the best or that flashlight you were using in a confined space goes out, the light on this item will help you see them last couple screws/ bolts to finish up and get out.

Has plenty of power for hanging pictures, shelves, etc. Very small and convenient to tuck into a corner and charge.

This fits the hand well, but I was worried it would be too lightweight. It's not, it's perfect.

Love this. great quality. Feels well-made. Great for when I don't have room for a full electric screwdriver. The convertible handle (L shape or long & skinny) makes it especially versatile when space is limited. I particularly like it for attaching/detaching hardware to cabinets & doors and for disassembling/assembling. Quick & easy to charge and holds a charge for a long time---I have yet to need to recharge mid-project. Lightweight and very comfortable for my average-sized lady hands to use. Highly recommend.

Very good torque, but no speed control, it's work always in its max speed, and it's not good for not strong scraws.

Articulo muy práctico cuando lo usas para trabajos ligeros, en mi caso le compré un accesorio para encordar mi guitarra acústica y funciona perfecto, el tamaño es ideal y me gusta mucho que tiene dos posiciones para ejecutar la tarea de bobinar o atornillar.
