I also like that the temperatures start well below 100. I use this a lot for making bread, and I need to know if something is in the 80s or 90s which I can easily tell with this thermometer. My other thermometer started at 100 so I had to estimate. I would recommend this to anyone needing this type of thermometer.

Thermometer is easy to use. It is not too heavy and it is NOT flimsy. I also like the blue color in the liquid: it is easier to read than red. I also like that the temperatures start well below 100. The clip is so tight that if your pan is curved at all it won't touch the bottom of the pot which effects the thermometer reading. If you're making small batches, which many people do, then the thermometer portion won't be deep enough what you're making to read properly. This is meant for large batches of whatever confection you're making. This is huge and unwieldy. Complete waste of money.
