If you are afraid to, or do not have the tools or skills to wire up an alarm and remote start and setting up relays as needed this is not the alarm I would pop my cherry with. Years ago I use to install car audio and alarms so I am familiar with the process and having that experience under my belt made this install fairly straightforward. Although when I entered programming I must have made a wrong selection that started causing the starter to stay engaged after the engine was remote started. I was able to reset to the default settings which cleared up that issue. But for the price I paid, I am very happy with my purchase. I needed something to activate my door latch actuator for my shaved handles.
