For me, once the pillow case was on made the pillow much tighter if you know what I mean. No room for the fill to move which made for an extremely thick pillow. (3stars) It was not comfortable at all. I woke with a headache 3 nights in a row. (3stars) BUT... I opened up the pillow and removed some of the fill and now it is perfect. If you enjoy a thick extremely firm pillow this is for you.
