Fantastic for securing loads.
I love these, they are so easy to fit and enable you to feel confident whatever you're carrying will be secure when travelling at any legal speed. get a couple of decent straps and securing a load is easy.

Brilliant
Whereas straps are usually all you need to hold the roof load steady, heavier items can slew left and right as you drive. These stops are easy to fit and have useful loops for the straps to pass through. I had to transport some tall shelving units on the roof rails and these held them very securely along with the Thule straps.

Came with paint in the threads
Thule normally make very high quality products – which these are – but I was disappointed that they came with so much paint in the threads that they were almost impossible to get the bolts in. Almost had to send them back, but eventually got the threads running nicely and clamping well. I'm not sure if this is intentional (to stop the clamps vibrating loose) but it is very important for safety that these are clamped tightly to the rack, and gummed up threads prevent the clamps from being tightened adequately.

Where have you been all my life
I've had the Thule roof-rack on my land rover for years and have been hauling around my canoe. It's been a constant battle to strap it down and hold it in place when travelling at speed. Then I got these. Being easily adjusted along the bar has meant I can lock the canoe in place and then only need 3 straps to make sure it goes nowhere.

Thule Load stops
I have used roof racks for over 30 years and this type of load stop for approx 20 years befor this last purchase. I like the triangle Hole to pass ropes,and bungees. very good stops.

Works perfectly. I use them to hold my stacked kayaks on the roof racks of my truck. Strapped down along with these load stops and my kayaks stay securely in place.
