Nest Cam Outdoor Security Camera w/ Accessories - White (Renewed)

I bought five of these cameras new from BB almost 10 years ago when Nest first came out. They've really been great cameras. One of them finally gave out and stopped working, so I needed to replace it. However, if you buy a brand new one (Google Nest) from BB, for example, it will NOT let you install it without upgrading to Google Home, which is nowhere near as good as the Nest app in my opinion. My mom has Google Home and I much prefer the Nest app. So, I tried to find an older Nest camera which I ultimately bought here on Amazon. It looks brand new and I swear the resolution is better, crisper and sharper. It might be just because my other cameras are almost 10 years old, but this refurbished camera works great and definitely solved my problem. Did not have to upgrade to Google Home!

These cameras work well. If you're an early adopter and are still on the Nest app, you will need to buy the older gen cameras, and these are expensive. The new Google Home app is not as clean and easy to use, so I'm stuck in the past but I like the cameras and the Nest app.

Product works fine but without the mount you can’t MOUNT THE CAMERA. It doesnt exactly sit on a table. And replacement mounts with the magnet ring are 29 bucks. Nice… renewed by Amazon but you can’t ,out it without the magnet ring that screws into place.

Best outdoor non-commercial camera there is. Yearly cost for 24 - 7 video cloud service worth the cost, ($60). Service promised free Alexa Dot for order but never received. Google product is easy to set up and all the hardware for mount including quality screws and cable stays are packed very nicely. Very high quality product and services. Video and infrared image quality is best in class. I'm a video graphics pro, so know good imaging quality when I see it. Plan to buy more and recommend to friends. Nothing better, just pretenders.

Perfect! and it works with the original Nest account, NOT Google Nest (which is not good), super easy to set up to replace my original NestCam, and works like a dream. Many thanks for keeping the original Nest going, it is far superior to Google Nest.

Easy to install and operate. Only problem is after four or five years something ate the cable and needed to buy a new one

I have the same camera I bought new, the mount that comes with it works great. This used/refurb comes with a mount with a weak magnet so the camera doesn't stay secured at all to it. Super frustrating because you have to find a 3rd party mount that works, and pay extra for it. I would have just bought new to not deal with this hassle if I knew about this. I've currently been waiting for over 2 weeks for a mount that doesn't seem like it's ever going to show up, so my camera is just laying on a shelf not being used.
