Seems well made.
I've only had one short tower climb (50 ft) since it arrived and the positioning lanyard performed as expected. The rope protective guard is of a reasonable quality. The bottom line is would I purchase this ProClimb position lanyard again? The answer is yes, I already purchased another steel snap hook with 8 ft rope version.

Best kept secret for linemen
Of course secondary lanyards made for lineman eg Buckingham, Bashlin, Klein, DBI-Sala, etc are fine products, but expensive and perhaps overpriced because they are purchased by telecom/cable carriers and power utility companies. This one by Pelican may not be as heavy duty, but will work reliably and safely (people under 310 lbs), and at 1/3 the price ($100+ compared to $300+).

Bought to use for secondary while climbing poles and it's so much easier to use than my old buckingham
