It's a work of art. It sounds amazing with double-digit-gauge strings (it doesn't like thinner-gauge strings, which surprised me, but after setting it up with the thicker strings, it's obviously a perfect fit for the 11's and higher, so it seems more than sturdy enough). This helped transform an old throaway guitar into a performer. With some adjustment (lowering the action, and lengthening the string distance), it was able to get the entire neck in perfect tune. All the individual wiring is done for you but you still have to connect it all together - that said, it was a piece of cake with the wiring diagram as a reference. You also have to make sure the pickups are close enough to the strings to have decent volume, but far enough away that they don't generate latent noise at maximum. It's impressive enough as-is that I can play with the knobs maxed out and not worry about latent noise. This has easily exceeded my expectations. I ended up attaching the top pickup to a new pickguard instead of the body, so that I could more easily adjust the distance after installation, which I highly recommend. I'm so happy with this purchase. Would do business with again.

I was initially attracted to the look of this pickup/ bridge combination. The pictures don't do the hardware justice in my opinion. The chrome plating was well done and the depth and sharpness if the detail was better than I expected. Th3 set come packed in a great little box with wood and foam inserts to hold everything sucure, not just a bag of parts banging around in a bag. The saddles installed without any issues and I even had to replace the saddle screw on the High E with a longer screw due to my error in locating the bridge exactly right. The replacement screw went in without any problem. The pots are a little stiff at first but with some lubrication they funtion as good as other tele pots I've used. I would say the taper on the tone is almost better through the mid ranges acting more as a treble bleed. I am most surprised it the SOUND! These things punch way above their weight! They are bright without being thin or tinny and the bridge pickups is warm and sparkly at high volume with a consistent full sound even at lower volumes. The bridge hold up to high volumes and distortion without excess hum and the Low end was a pleasan5 surprise for single coil tele pick ups. Honestly, I was going to make this guitar a wall hanger since it looks great but I can't put it down it sounds so good. I would recommend these to anyone without hesitation.

Very pleased overall. Bridge plate could be a bit stiffer. I did notiice some lifting at the plate corners when strung and tuned to 440. Added small screws in the corners and resolved this issue. Sound quality is excellent. All cavities were copper foiled and continuity connected prior to install no 60 Hz hum whatsoever.

I purchased this bridge and pickup set for a custom telecaster-style guitar build. I wanted something fancier than the standard stamped metal style, but having never built this style guitar before, I didn't want to spend much money. I was very pleasantly surprised when I received and installed everything. The items were beautifully packaged in a fitted box and were secured to a wooden plate. The quality of the components were excellent and the pre-wired controls were neatly soldered. Once installed, I was very happy with the classic-sounding tone of the pickups and the quality of the other components. The customer of this guitar was thrilled with the look of the bridge and control plate and the overall sound of the guitar pickups. I will definitely purchase again.

This product arrived in a nice box with everything screwed into place into a piece of wood that could also be used as a template. The electronics are sort of a 1950's style with an orange drop capacitor. I actually bought this product expecting that they would be cheaper electronics that would more appropriately used on a cigar box guitar. I was more interested in using the metal hardware on a solid body guitar. However, I decided to go ahead and use the electronics in a Telecaster style build and was very impressed with the sound and tone. My friends that played the guitar thought so also. The first person that was interested in purchasing the guitar played it and immediately purchased it. I then used the bridge and control panel on another Telecaster style guitar made from wood from an old 1890's Ohio house. See photo for finished project. This guitar also sold immediately.

Comprato per fare una miglioria in una vecchia Tele Squier, si è dimostrato perfetto anche nel caso in cui il body della chitarra non abbia i buchi per le corde passanti. Il cablaggio è già presente e i componenti sembrano di buona fattura. Suono ottimo, zero hum nonostante i pick up siano single coil. Esteticamente molto gradevole.

My luthier upgraded my Fender Telecaster with this kit and I was not disappointed. Not only does it enhance my guitar visually, the sound is amazing. The neck pick up is gutsy and bluesy without having to crank my amp and the bridge pick up is sharp without being too shrill like the original.
