The color saturation of the fabric is perfectly jet black. Built to last for many years because the style is timeless, the quality and value is apparent and appreciated. I wore mine in October at night in Downtown Chicago for a dressy occasion. When the wind blew, I draped the pashmina around my chest and shoulders and I was toasty warm. I was so happy I brought this pashmina in that moment. It was generously proportioned and draped nicely. I don’t plan on washing this pashmina so I can’t speak to its wash ability.
