To my family's taste buds these tea bags are simply the best. Taste is very personal, of course. Unfortunately most other consumers don't seem to have discovered this tea or they are put off by the higher cost, so this tea is unfortunately very difficult to find these days in our supermarkets.

They are bags to hold your tea..these particular ones are triangular....oh the joy

Love pg gold, very rarely find this in supermarket, was cheaper to buy 6 boxes,worked out same as supermarket when you can find it,to buy one off here,too expensive

The reason why i have just cancelled this lovely tea from my subscribe and save is because of the next time i was to purchase the pg gold tea bags the price has shot up price wise between 75 to 100% in price and im just not having it !

Up until recently I have not been able to buy these in the shops in the UK, so have bought them a on Amazon…..problem solved

My wife has always been a fan of PG Tips, me, not. Any other brand I purchase automatically "tastes awful". Having now tried Original and Breakfast, we have settled on PG Gold which satisfies her brand-wise and me and my son flavour-wise There are no fancy instructions - brew it for as littler or as long as to suit your taste. It really does have a golden colour!

Bad product, no taste, no flavour, nothing in the mouth, nada! Impossible to return. Dear visitor, PASS YOUR WAY AND AVOID THAT. A real shame for an english product. 200% disappointed 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡 One star because it’s possible no give no one

So, I was watching an interview of his, talking about coming to the states for his solo album tour some time ago and he was saying they had to pack their PG Tips because they didn't like the bagged tea abroad. I decided to "call that bet and raise" and so I bought the Gold, and the Extra Strong. WOW. Ok so this stuff makes Lipton taste like...uh...not tea? Point is, Mr. Gilmour was right and wasn't just venting about tea issues. It really does for sure taste better than a lot of the stuff in the stores here. Really good stuff here with the Gold. It's really hard to describe the flavor to the newcomer. I'd say a more flavorful black tea that has something else in it that tastes REALLY good and fixes the flavor issue of something like Lipton or Luizianne hahaha. Also, the caffeine content is up for SURE on this. The extra strong is no joke and is even more uppity. One standard coffee cup size mug of water, one of these bags, and 1:30 on power 10 in a microwave is what I do and...it's about as strong as coffee I've had in years past. But the taste? Hard to beat it if you buy it by the case, and evaluate it out dollar for dollar against most black tea in the store that is anywhere remotely as strong, and in bulk daily quantity. Excellent way to discover it and try something new, and have it pan out! Give it a try. The Gold is where I'd start looking back on it.

We've had standard PG tips for several years now every morning, but when I recently went to order more, I noticed the fancy Gold PG tips. It does have a smoother taste. My husband and I quite like it. I've recently been using date syrup as my sweetener, and that has elevated the flavor even more. I highly recommend this tea.

In addition to enjoying my favorite black tea, I now get to contribute in a small way to sustainability (without giving up the convenience of single-use tea bags). I was happy to learn there was no difference in taste or performance (ie. bags falling apart, etc.) of these biodegradable tea bags, compared to the non-biodegradable ones I've had before.

I use this tea every morning as my breakfast tea and, with a little cream, it’s almost as tasty as Fortnum&Mason’s breakfast blend. Love having it handy in my pantry!
