Brilliant book, and one you can dip in and out of easily and then discover something new each time. Generous with photos and insightful captions. Excellent!
I just received this book and it has totally exceeded all my expectations. It is just beautiful, I have bought it for a dress designer friend but anyone interested in graphics or any type of design would love this book. Very happy.

A very informative and beautiful book.
A beautiful book. Very informative about the history of pattern until the present day. The illustrations are of a very high quality. A lovely book for any home.

Great book, but needs better packaging in transit
Excellent book, only complaint is that it wasn’t packaged with enough protection and arrived with the corners damaged (see photos). Otherwise, the book is a comprehensive reference text with a wide range of photos of textile & wallpaper designs.

Love this pattern design book! It’s packed with all kinds of prints—floral, abstract, people, and more. The illustrations are super vibrant and inspiring. Great find if you're into art, design, or just love cool visuals!

I was very disappointed as the book is the same as The Complete Pattern Directoty 1500 Disigns grom All Ages and Cultures by Elizabeth Wilhide just another Name for the book & Publisher

Love this book. It's jam packed with so many inspiring references.

Like the title says, the poor binding on this book is not suitable at all for the weight of this hefty book. Immediately out of the shipping box, I noticed the binding pulling away from the pages. Sadly, I had to return it for a refund.

Book is beautiful and contains a wide range of pattern styles. Con: Amazon will suggest you buy these books together. Don’t, they are exactly the same just different covers.
