After wearing an air cast boot for 2 months I still couldn’t walk barefooted without pain. The lace-up corset style ankle brace the clinic gave me to wear out of the cast is a ridiculous pain to put on and take off. It also started to hurt. I didn’t have one shoe I could fit into with it on. I played basketball twice a week. Couple weeks ago I sprained my ankle and it took me almost two weeks to recover. After that I was looking for a good ankle brace to allow me wearing shoes when playing basketball. I have tried a few products but they are not providing support to my ankle as good as this one. However, I never could figure out how to apply it to my left ankle, and the video only shows the right ankle clearly. After trying for about 20 minutes I finally got it where I thought it belonged. However, when I put on my walking shoes one of the Velcro tabs rubbed my ankle, which was very uncomfortable. This brace is now in my box of "braces that didn't work."
