**Q: Does it come with a screen so you can see the lyrics.**
A: No you Bluetooth your own

**Q: Are you able to get both the music and the lyrics on your tv by connecting your phone and not using the devices app. i.e a youtube video**
A: I only used it while using karaoke songs online. You don’t have to use the app.

**Q: Can you connect a laptop or external cd player?**
A: You can connect a laptop, iPad etc via Bluetooth.   I think you can play music from anything via the earphone jack!!??

**Q: Does it have phono inputs to connect a cd player?**
A: No, the device does not have phono inputs

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good at what it does. Let down by microphone

First of all, buy a decent microphone. The one supplied looked and felt cheap. The control buttons didn't work either but that's not an issue for me As the system comes with only one microphone and with it being unidirectional, you cannot sing to it from the side. It has to be right near your mouth for the mic to work. No good if you want to double up with a friend. Go and buy one of these. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07CGKB5VL/ref=cfb_at_prodpg I did it it's great. It is one of those that will pick up from the sides as well as from the front. Back to the singing machine. Apart from the afterthought microphone, the system itself is great. I am still getting used to all the effects. I need them. I may not be tone deaf but I can't sing that well and this will help me with my bum notes. I intend to use this on occasion for the other residents to use in my sheltered housing complex as it is well known that singing helps those with dementia help keep their faculties for longer. The battery pack will last the distance. I topped up the charge once, have used it every day since for at least an hour each time and the battery is still showing a full charge! The volume while quite good isn't hall filling but luckily I have a surround sound system at home and once connected to a TV and using the optical output to the surround sound, I can cheerfully wake up the neighbours. I'm also glad I can turn the lights off. Don't like them. Over all, this is an impressive machine only let down by the useless microphone.
