They do what they are supposed to. I personally think they should be slightly narrower and longer. When you have double studs it’s easy to accidentally overlap them.

Nail plates work great to keep inspectors happy for protection of wires drilled in studs

Perfect for what i need them for. Although i have to bend some of the points back into place becuase they bent along the process of shipping/handling/boxing.

I purchased about 600 of these plates for our new home build. I'm surprised how expensive these are if you go to any big box store. This price is the best. The quality of these plates is very good. I did not have a single plate that had bad claws on it or that was defective. Each one went into the stud well. My plumber had his own plates, which were a different brand, and his claws kept bending. (perhaps user error?...) So I think this brand is pretty solid.

These will give you peace of mind if you forget where your precious wires, pipes, and lines are behind your walls. We used hundreds of these in our new build to ensure we would never accidentally puncture something down the road.
