The real problem with this camera is that it doesn't work once the light switch has been turned off. If you replace a light in the ceiling with this, you'll need to keep the lights on always in order for this to be useful. You could use a lamp that has a single light fixture, but it makes the lamp useless other than for the camera. If you've got a situation where power is always on to the light fixture, then this could work very well. You must have really fast internet for this product to be of any use. At least for me, it did not send any alerts of movements, and the lighting was bad, so forget about seeing anything at night!
