Great kit for trailer!!!
Used the the 200 watt kit on my cargo trailer and it works great. I bought this 100 watt kit along with a 100 amp hour gel battery just to run the refrigerator. Very easy to install.

Overall great quality for the price
We've had this kit on our sailboat since last winter and it powers all of the basics of the boat and keeps the two 12v batteries topped off. No issues with it in the Florida sun, wind, and rain. The solar panel is mounted to the top of the cabin and the regulator inside by the electrical panel. Very reassuring reading the LED display when boarding seeing everything is OK, and also during load, when multiple switches/devices are on. I would recommend this product (solar panel and regulator) and will purchase another panel next year when we expand some electronics and have more power to charge or USB devices while underway.

Good solar kit - weak user guides
This is a high quality kit that works well and was very easy to install. The user manuals for the controller and bluetooth adapter are not great. Renogy should spend some quality time with an actual user and create manuals or video training that explains all the various options, buttons and troubleshooting steps when something goes wrong. The Bluetooth phone app is not very good. It provides the basics but not in a very user friendly way. The controller screen is not much better. I had a lot of difficulty selecting the battery fullness indicator for example. It appears you can select full or almost empty and a couple of others in between but no way to actually do that (That I could find in the manual). In the end I was able to select Lithium type and it picked the full icon on its own. The wiring, connectors and fusing items were good. Plenty of solar panel connector wire was provided. I was able to install it all in my RV in a few hours and it is now successfully charging my new LiFEPO4 battery.

Out of box review before use
The box had non-sealed, un-taped flap tabs that could be opened with no trace of tampering but it was all there. The panel had shipping pads on corners. Impressive how much wire is in this kit, that makes it worth the price. There are two long coils of panel connection wires not shown in the kit image, plus other wires with terminals. Hardware for mounts is included. There are mounting tabs for the controller too, to provide more back ventilation. Those fuses are not cheap to buy separately. I'm a retired electronics technician who has installed three previous solar kits on my boats and RV. My Renogy panels have been the best. I will be adding to this review after it is all up and working. I skipped the Renogy brand for the inverter because of all the scary reviews.

Game changer
Installed on my 2019 Tacoma with roof rack and itโs powering an Alpicool fridge freezer that runs full time off of two 109ah marine deep cycle batteries wired in series to give me 218ah storage capacity. During night time the batteries will dip down to 70% and never bellow 65% if you want to go boondocking or start an off grid car life this is your best bet. Those portable jackery type batteries will not do it for me and my power needs alone but paired with this Renogy kit should be more than sufficient. Also note, I am also powering a Nintendo switch and a small fan and a mini Bluetooth speaker.

More power
We had this installed on our trailer to maintain batteries; First time we took our trailer out, the generator would not stay running. With the solar panel up, the batteries stayed up and we were able to keep warm with the furnace without the batteries running low. Did what we wanted it to do!

Easy to set up
Order this kit to charge a battery for an out house/shower shed I built. Needed a small and simple solar setup that didnt break the bank. This did the trick. the max output from the panel was around 80W, which gave me about 5amps of charging for the 100ah lithium battery. Main loads being supplied are two 12v lights, two 12v exhaust fans (cpu style) and a propane water heater. No pump, as I did run a water supply to the shed. the panel should provide enough wattage while all items are in use (as pass through) and not drain the battery... Of course, night will be a different story. If needed, i can just add another panel or two in series because the mppt is 20a. The reason for 4 stars is the box was rather beat up on one end from shipping and 2 of the pre-crimped ring terminals had tarnish on them
