Medium Roast Ground Coffee

At last, a good cup of coffee. After using Folgers for decades, I started straying to other brands because I was no longer satisfied with the flavor. In fact, it seemed a bit off. I kept checking labels for additives, but no, the other brans stated 100% coffee. Come to find out the difference could be in the packaging. When I opened the can of Hills Brothers coffee the wonderful aroma hit me immediately. So much so that I grabbed my other coffee and gave it a sniff. They were different!! I made a pot and could smell the difference as it brewed. It was the can!! The steel can!! Chemicals from the plastic cans had been leaching into the other coffees. Steel does not give off chemicals. Steel can be recycled indefinitely. and easily, because it doesn't have different compounds like plastics do. Finally, I'm enjoying coffee again.

Bought as a gift for my sister-in-law as she always drank this coffee when she was younger. Was never able to find in a brick and mortar store and happy that I could find on Amazon as it also brought back memories of commercials on TV when I was younger, strong flavor, wonderful aroma in the morning as it is brewing. Quality coffee, caffeine has never been an issue for me. Nice roast low acidity. She was very happy that I was able to find this product for her.

Great coffee in a metal tin

Visited my sister & this is coffee she used. I had some & loved it. It’s been around forever & you can tell why after a cup. I’ve ordered her some but stopped as she is now in nursing home.

Excellent coffee

I give the flavor of this coffee 2 stars only because it's slightly less terrible than I've ever tasted - Which essentially was like dirt. Within the flavor profile was a thickness or heaviness, which was slightly improved by reducing the amount used to brew the same amount. This definitely didn't taste the same as I remembered from previous years. Had the flavor been better, it might have been worth the cost, relatively speaking. After drinking this coffee more frequently using fewer grounds, mostly to not waste the purchase price, I've become accustomed to the flavor and increased my rating by one star. Still wasn't impressed from the start.

This smells and looks so authentic! I am thrilled to start tomorrow morning! Now if only I could find the right grind, but this is a start. I almost fainted when I tried to buy plain coffee, what all is in those powder-like grinds.
