Sanding disc backing pad
My old disc had an aluminium locking thread and as I've had it a long time the thread failed. Whilst there was nothing wrong with this new disc, although being plastic instead of nylon, it was nowhere near as flexible as the old backing disc and as it was slightly different in construction I could not use the new nut in the old disc. Nothing stays the same. It will just have to do, it will perform maybe just as good as the old one, maybe better only time will tell, as I haven't used it yet. I have to give it 5 stars because it is a perfectly adequate replacement (and the only replacement I could find) and good value for money.

Connect onto the grinder and away you go.
Does what it says on the tin, great product at a great price, fits nicely on the grinder.

really poor quality
Firstly the depth of the backing pad is so deep that the sanding disk fouls the guard. There is a large gap between the locking nut and the base of the pad making it impossible to tighten the locking nut fully down with a sanding disk fitted. The locking nut is made from thin die cast aluminium!, I really should of known better than to order this the price should of been a big clue but I didn't believe something rated to run at 13000 rpm would be this bad or could be sold. I won't be using it, I honestly dare'nt. Oh and it's definitely not flexible.
