So I started looking for a clipper on Amazon and watching review on Youtube. I spent some time doing research and finally ended up buying this clipper. I never heard of the company “Wahl” before buying this clipper.This is my immediate feedback after using the clipper two times. Long term perspective may be different.Package Contents:Clipper, Comb, oil to lubricate and brush to clean the blade, 8 guards, protective blade guardNot everything is mentioned on the package label though.Pros:1. Product is Made in USA (not China) and meant to be used in India.i.e. 230 Volt input, 3 Pin Indian Plug, some part of instruction document is in Hindi.Since it is not a 110 Volt appliance and it is 230V, you don’t have the headache to get a step drown transformer. I was very much worried as input voltage was not clearly mentioned on product description and there was no return policy.The product is not something that is imported by third party traders to India but by Wahl itself.2. Mostly heavy built quality meant for both professional and personal uses.Anything made for professional uses can be used for personal use but may not be vice versa.3. Comes with 2-year warranty4. Makes low noise.This is contrary to what many have complained that this device makes lot of noise. If the ceiling fan is switched on in the room, you don’t notice the noise. If there is no ambient noise, then you don’t hear the clipper noise from 3-4 feet distance.Before operating the device for the first time, I put few drops of oil on the blade and started the clipper and it started with a low noise. This noise level is way lower than what I observe with the clippers used in local salon and many reviews I find on YouTube. There is a side screw that can be adjusted to reduce the noise and vibration, which I don't have to adjust.Cons:1. Price is high.Due higher price of the product and thus lesser value for money, I have rated it 4 Star.2. Makes vibration.It is due to the magnetic motor. However, the vibration is not a big issue. Frankly, I have never used any other clipper before, so can’t compare its vibration with any other clipper.3.
