With design flexibility in mind, the heavy-duty chrome mixer lift can be attached to any custom-made shelf and therefore will fit all full-height cabinets with a minimum frame opening of 12 inches. The RAS-ML-HDCR features adjustable spring tension that has 3 weight rating settings, and holds appliances up to 60 pounds. By installing this spring-loaded bracket kit, you can eliminate the hassle of squatting and lifting heavy appliances like food processors, blenders, and toasters. If the appliance lift system is not in your kitchen, you can use this for your sewing machine as well! The lift measures 12 inches wide by 22.5 inches deep by 20.63 inches high. Double-check your cabinet's opening to allow the best fit. Measure side to side, front to back, and top to bottom. Double-check to make sure your product is within measurements and don't forget to take into account any obstructions. This lift requires a full-height cabinet with 24 inches of depth in order to work properly. Review: Post Installation Review - Just installed Rev-A-Shelf Soft Close to a new kitchen. Seems to do the job well and I like the fact that I can just release the catches, step away and watch the soft close mechanism stow the mixer away, back into the cupboard. As our kitchen was extended and completely rebuilt we put the Rev-A-Shelf on an island and had a power socket installed in the cupboard to supply the mixer. If you are looking for a downside then be prepared to effectively lose a whole cupboard for storing the mixer.

**Q: Can the mixer be used while it’s on the shelf?**
A: Yes it can. I have an electric socket inside the cupboard so it’s permanently plugged in. There is a space between the worktop and the shelf when it’s up so the wire can go through. If you’re making something heavy you have to make sure the mixer doesn’t work it’s way off though.

Ordered this because I couldn’t buy one from any of the kitchen shops. I can now lift my kenwood to the level of the work surface without any strain on my back. It means I’m using it much more. It took a while to arrive and we had to get the kitchen fitter to fit it as it was a little complicated but it’s my favourite thing in my new kitchen.
