Wow! Highly recommended, this really touched me in an inspiring way. I didn't realize this was such a deep and important piece of work. Sakamoto's life was so incredibly full and diverse, this shares only an intimate and insightful glimpse of his final years. Even with his cancer treatment and ongoing issues, he still makes it a priority to attent a rally and play an intimate performace for victems of Fukashima. There is a lot of insight into his personal life and inspirational artistry throughout this film. I find it thourougly inspiring that he remained passionate about music, recording sounds, film scores, and original artistic expression to the end. Rest in piece Sakamoto, it's so sad to loose such a legend like this. Highly recommended, this really touched me in a deep inspiring way.

Parfait!

Uma das coisas boas que o stream tem trazido é a valorização do documentário. Mas, por outro lado, a estética empobreceu, todos eles são muito parecidos. Não é o caso desse documentário, ele é Cinema com "C" maiúsculo. Quase que extrapolando o gênero do documentário para a ficção científica, o filme começa com Sakamoto caminhando, num traje de proteção dos pés à cabeça, nos arredores da usina de Fukushima recém destruída pelo terremoto. O tom do filme está grave, é Sakamoto tocando uma Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence, num teatro, num piano arruinado pelo tsunami, junto com o brasileiro Jaques Morelenbaum para os refugiados da tragédia. Provavelmente é a Mr Lawrence mais carregada que você verá na vida. No mais, você verá Sakamoto criando, se inspirando, cercado de livros e cds, mas o tom ainda é grave, porque o filme não deixará você esquecer de que ali estava um homem lutando contra a morte , a doença. No material bônus, o pequeno concerto tem um tom meio "noise music", você não encontrará os clássicos. No fim das contas, acho que é um filme que pede blu-ray, se você puder, prefira ele.
