During trimming, the FT-45 crimp tool blade leaves a smooth, flat finish at the end face of this Feed-Thru connector. Heavy duty blade stays sharp, lasts for over 2,000 cuts, has minimal flex. It is not for use on other IDEAL modular plug tools. For installation, remove screw securing existing blade to tool. Carefully remove blade and spacer. Place new spacer and blade into position on the tool, with the beveled side of the blade facing toward the outside of the tool. Replace and tighten screw.
