Aloha Beauty Hawaiian Red Hibiscus Eau De Parfum Spray, 1.7 oz

My husband bought me this perfume in a tiny shop in Hawaii when we visited in 2006. I wasn't able to find it for a long time and then found it here. It smells exactly as it did then. It starts off strong but then wears off a little. It is a little sweet but find it to be a good summer scent.

I haven't opened the box because this is going to be a gift, but the person I got it for usually buys this perfume and I already know it is amazing, both in looks and scent. I just had to leave a comment because I got such a lovely handwritten note with the perfume and it just really made my day. It was just something small but I appreciated it all the same. These sellers really seem to care about their customers and I will absolutely buy from them again.

One thing I always bought while on Maui over the twenty seven years of going, as Aloha red hibiscus perfume. I bought two bottles online, but the scent is a bit less than it was in the old days. It smells more of alcohol and less like flowers. It’s still better than many perfumes for the price, but I was a tad disappointed. I wondered if it was just my own sense of discretionary smell and maybe it is, but I will still continue to wear Red Hibiscus by Aloha. The scent explains who I am.

Glass bottle arrived broke leaking everywhere. The smell is horrendous. Does not smell like flowers but the exact smell of the elderly people I used to take care of in the nursing home. You know the ones that had the bottles of perfume from 1930? I also had to wash my hands three times with dawn dish soap to get the smell off. I'm not being dramatic about the smell either, just an honest description.
