They both have all the same features and functions. **Q: Has this model overheated and required shutdown to cool before continuing ?** A: If you are sealing many bags and quickly, the seal heater needs a couple seconds to cool down a little once in a while. But after 5 - 10 seconds you can start again. I've never had to shut the Foodsaver itself down. And we use it for big amounts. Just did $450 worth of meat that I bought and brought home and divided up to put in the freezer **Q: Hi - does this work with wet or juicy food?** A: This vacuum sealer does have a moist/dry food settings for optimal sealing that adjusts the seal level for a secure, reliable, air tight seal.
