I eat a LOT of nuts - it's one of my main sources of protein, as a vegetarian. I'm always on the lookout for a large quantity of nuts that are roasted, UNSALTED, and a nice mixture that doesn't contain peanuts. (I do like peanuts but buy those separately, not mixed in with other nuts.) There is a bit of flavor of the oil, but these are so fresh and crisp and each variety so flavorful that I don't mind that in the least. I have been ordering these nuts for over a year and am extremely pleased. I cannot understand the few reviews that are negative. My experience has always been positive. That said, the title "mixed nuts" is a bit misleading. Most of the nuts are almonds and cashews with a few of the others mixed in. So, if you do not like almonds or cashews, these nuts are not for you. But I love both almonds and cashews, so the imbalance is not really a problem for me, but at times I would appreciate more of a balanced mixture. These nuts by far are better than any I have ever tasted and I would highly recommend them.Update: There has been improvement! My most recent shipments (in 2017) have come in a red rather than green colored bag. With these new bags there is a much better balance of nuts. Although almonds and cashews still predominate, there are many more walnuts, pecans, and hazel nuts. There is also much less sediment.
