i got this for my bf for our anniversary. he loves it! very worth the money, functions super well, and all the knobs/buttons add more customization to whatever project you’re working on. definitely worth the money to see how excited he got ❤️

What an amazing machine. If you’re trying to get into mixing dubstep and riddim, this is the weapon. I was using a laptop based controller before, but the standalone is the best way to fully immerse yourself in your sets and feel the music. It’s also ergonomic as you’re not looking at a laptop screen. The controls are so seamless and so easy to manipulate throughout the set and transitions can be done so smoothly. This is great for beginners and the professionals speak highly of it as well. I just love dropping doubles with this thing and learning how to chop! Effect application is also more seamless than laptop dependent models like the DDJFLX6. If you’re serious about learning how to DJ, hobbyist or pro, this is such a great investment. I also own a XDJ-XZ and the XDJ-RR by comparison is a unit that is small enough that can be portable. In terms of functionality, it has everything that you would ever need for basic mixing and scratching. I like that the screen is very clear and the brightness is great. The jog wheels are very responsive and accurate. The pitch sliders are very accurate as well, but not as accurate as 100mm pitch faders. The unit does lack in some areas such as inputs, but I purchased this unit to use as stand alone and with Rekordbox. For the intended purpose, it does its job very well. It does not come with a booth out, but that's no problem. I use the second RCA master out as booth out. I really like this unit. Edit: After few weeks of ownership, I must say that I still like the unit, but I have a big complaint and that's the sound quality. It is not very good on a good PA system. I think that for its intended use in the bedroom, it is OK.
