Great kit for the DIY beginner
We are not professional pool players and have a standard 8-foot table with a variety of pool sticks that range in age from 60 and a few months old. I ordered this to fix a few of the old pool sticks. I had no clue how to fix the pool cue tips. The instructions are easy to follow, and everything you need is included. I was able to replace and reshape the tips on three pool sticks. I am a beginner and had no clue what I needed to do. The kit is great for the basic DIY beginner like me. I doubt this would be acceptable for use by a professional pool player.

Quality kit.
I'm just getting back into billiards after a couple of decades' sabbatical. I had been okay shooting pool, but my eyesight had been much better back then. I've always been interested in keeping my cues in good shape. Now, I see there are much better tools available. This kit has everything I wish I had way back when. While I haven't replaced a tip yet, this will make doing so much easier than before. It doesn't hurt that it is relatively cheap for the decent quality you get. 100% recommended as a basic kit.
