This case is still in great shape!! It has really held up and still looks great. Color never faded and the gold around the edges is still there with no scratches or scrapes. It fit my phone perfectly and is a nice looking case. I have even been using alcohol wipes on the case, something I would never do if it were not for COVID, and it still looks great! I noticed that I never left a review and thought since I have had it so long, I may as well tell people how it held up. I was so impressed when I scrutinized it for this review. I expected to find the normal wear and tear, but it still looks almost new. I am not particularly hard on my phone, but it is with me daily, either in my purse or pocket. I have dropped it and this case protected my phone even when I was sure there is no way it could have survived. I like that it's slim, doesn't add too much bulk or weight, and that the cutouts all match up perfectly to the phone. The edges around the screen, camera, fingerprint reader, and usb-c port are unobtrusive. I found the buttons to be nice, responsive, and not too hard or too easy to accidentally press.A few small caveats. Yes, the case does not provide as much grip as you would think it would on the back. This is because the pattern is a lot smaller and the grooves are not as deep as they appear on the product images. Small particles also have a way of finding themselves lodged in the areas where the case meets the phone. It was a little hard for me to install since there's not a lot of give/flex, but once the case was on I felt that the phone would be protected enough for regular use.I would recommend giving this case a try if you're looking for something that's sleek and solidly designed to put on your Pixel 3 phone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Nice slim case that protects from falls. *by M***. on Reviewed in the United States on September 14, 2020* ***Update 5/3/21:So noticed today after my phone fell out of my pocket onto the tile floor at work that the top corner of the case was completely cracked, so that the plastic trim is now completely separated at the corner. After taking the case off the phone, I noticed that there are actually small cracks on all 4 corners of the case (see pictures). Now I will say that for the amount this phone gets dropped, it has still held up quite well and my phone has never sustained any damage,aside from a crack on the tempered glass screen protector right after I got the phone. So durability isnt the BEST, but for the price it worked very well. Wish they still sold this in burgundy, but unfortunately the only available anymore is the black, so I will be trying out a new case brand this go around. ***I'll preface this by saying I tend to drop my phone. A lot. So having a sturdy case is important, but I hate super clunky ones. I also tend to set my phone down and "lose it", because I have black countertops and previous cases have all had black rims around the screen. I loved the look of this gold and burgundy one, as it was stylish, sleek, and still visible without being obnoxiously bright and colorful. I feel like it barely adds any bulk to my phone, but I've dropped my phone several times and the result so far has just been a few minor dents/scrapes on the gold edges and corners. And I managed to shatter the glass screen protector with an Otterbox DEFENDER on, which is probably one of the clunkiest, heavy duty cases I can think of, yet the screen has been fine with all the spills while this case has been on. In the past I have put a rubber card holder on the back of my phone cases, but decided not to on this one because I liked how thin the phone felt and the look of the case. Also I'm not sure how well it would hold with the texture on the back. Lastly, some reviews mentioned the case was too slick to hold securely, but I haven't had this issue. It could PROBABLY be more secure if it was more of a rubberized finish, but I find it no more slippery than any other phone case I've used regularly.Pros:- super sleek and thin.
