I loved my new GPS till it died only 7 months after I bought it. First the Input lead broke, I bought a new one. I then discovered that on a really cloudy day, there was no signal. This week, no signal as it was cloudy, then it froze. I tried to reset it, but no luck. When it worked, it was a fantastic machine, what a pity it doesn’t t come with a warranty. This GPS is reliable, it offers four options with regard to routes, you can do easy, green, fast and slow. It gives directions from well in advance so that you are never caught at the last minute in the wrong lane. It speaks and gives images. As you are coming up to a junction of multiple lanes it is very specific as to which ones you can use- I find this very helpful in a strange area. Had a little bit of trouble setting it up as I was looking for the written word for settings, but it is actually just an image. It does take postcodes- leave a space in the middle- and you can find community places and other points of interest quite easily. I've learnt that when you set it, you do need to press final destination or new destination, or you may find yourself going via a previous location. Frankly for the relief of stress and anxiety when using the sat nav in my Polo, this satnav is worth the money. It does do all sorts of other things, but I only really use it as a SatNav. It is a little large, so you do need to consider the space between the windscreen and your dashboard.

Please think twice before purchasing this item. As mentioned, it is supposed to come with US maps on it but NO, it comes with standard EU maps. So I then contacted the seller who told me that I would have to download a very dodgy/suspicious file from a dropbox (guys, you don't know what you download there, could as well be a virus) so I did that and when I tried to follow the instructions (from a home-made YouTube video) the device 1. kept disconnecting itself from the computer (guess connection issues as this is a very low quality product) 2. it did not have enough space on it to actually put the "US maps" on and 3. then messed up the whole device so it does not work at all. If you are looking for something that's quality and not probably illegal to do (this is a private dropbox so I am not really clear how Amazon allows this) then you're better off ordering something else.

This SatNat system has a really good size screen that is clearly visible wherever you place it in the car. It was nice and easy to set up initially and pretty much a plug in and go system. The picture is very clear and inputting the directions was is simple enough. The voice is very loud and clear. Overall a very nice SatNav that is simple to set up and use.

Based on 2 weeks of use and 1500 miles by car, in England and Scotland. Not a user friendly interface. Touch screen has poor response to touch, needing to press hard as well as being slow to respond sometimes when entering destination names . So you think it hasn't responded, press again and after the delay end up with incorrect spelling. It is not possible to move the cursor by touch so you have to delete and start again. It includes very few post codes but does not always give the correct place so I found it tedious to have to enter the full name and then have to choose the area for the search. Yes it needs the area to be entered too before it searches. The first time I used it to get to a post code in Beaconsfield (Bucks) it gave me directions to a place in Surrey. It had no record of Wimbledon Stadium - got us to Wimbledon village and we then had to rely on signposts while the Sat Nav was directing to go around in circles. That was not the only time we had a circular tour due to it's directions. Sometimes it reverts to walking or cycling routes! I gave 2 stars because on one journey I hit a traffic jam and it suggested an alternative route which saved me about 45-60 minutes (based on another car in our party that arrived later).

Very good sat nav I'm a HGV driver so a good sat nav is vital I've no complaints they all can be a little temperamental my mate bought a Garmin that put us wrong and he paid over 400 for it and this is as good if not better Good volume lane guidence fuel stations lets you know in plenty of time which direction to take bright and precise can't fault it

I find it difficult to switch on after starting the car. Continual swiping across the screen usually results in a blank screen and it it is only after several attempts it comes to life. Also the information regarding police stations, health centres, garages etc. are all in Co.Donegal which is of no use to me. I am still waiting to hear from the manafacturer if and how I can alter the settings for this programme. Otherwise it provides fairly accurate directions to my destinations.

Great product, maps are easy to download when they send you the link and I love how the satnav has a corner icon to show you what’s coming up next - makes me much less anxious so I know in advance which way it will tell me to turn soon. I also took me straight to every front door, I didn’t have to spend ages trying to find a place because it led me vaguely into the surrounding area - well worth investing in this one.

I bought this GPS Navigation device as a present. The recipient opened it today and was confused and perplexed by the instructions. Such instructions as there are in English were clearly not written by someone for whom English is their native tongue. There are no instructions whatsoever for mounting the device in a car. If the recipient cannot get the thing to work satisfactorily then I will be returning it and will order another make.
