Oakley Men's Flak Jacket Iridium Sunglasses

first of all, shoutout to Mrwatch, the seller, my package was shipped immediately the next day, no frills, and i couldnt've gotten any luckier, it shipped out of a neighboring state, just in time for my trip. i payed for 2 day priority, and while i feel it was a tad expenisve, i splurged the $ since i wanted them for a trip i was taking 2 days later, and well, who could beat the great price these are at? my only side complaint is as usual, i HATE Fedex with a PASSION, they took my package that was out for delivery and on the truck, back to the warehouse to be delivered the next day, no reason, just did it. but the seller has no control over that, thats just fedex's fault..if he could use UPS id be jumping with joy.Okay, so the flakjackets with iridium lenses; just superb. i caution you, as well as the instruction manual does, these arent really IDEAL driving glasses if its cloudy or later on in the evening (sunset ish), but i drove east in the morning so the sun was rising, and my 5 hour trip in the sun was so easy and painless. in sunny conditions they are just sweet. just cloudy weather is a little* dark, but thats just me as well. they fit perfect and i cant make them fall off my head,heck id have them on my hat, and even if i took my hat off, they were in the same position; the rubber socks hold true.i have great periferial vision and i can see below the lenses in case something requires normal vision (like making a call on a phone while driving etc).Overall, i love these glasses and the seller; i will buy more very soon.

These are my first ever pair of Oakleys. I bought them primarily for running and cycling. I had been wearing cheap supermarket sunglasses prior to these, and never had a pair last more than a month or two without breaking. Fortunately, the Flak Jackets have performed flawlessly for me over a long Summer of pretty heavy abuse. My number one requirement was that they needed to stay put on my face, without breaking due to snugness. In that regard, the Flak Jackets have been perfect. I have never once had an issue with them falling off or needing to be adjusted mid-run. They are also showing no signs of stress or breakage whatsoever. Additionally, the optics are night and day better compared to the cheapies I had been wearing before. Everything is crystal clear, and water and sweat just kind of beads off the lenses. These certainly aren't inexpensive, but they are easily worth the Amazon price I paid for them. I would definitely buy them again.As a side note, I had initially purchased the Half Jacket 2.0s, and they were way too snug for my wider face. So if you have a wide face and can't decide, the Flak Jackets are probably a better bet over the Halfs.

Oakley takes me back to my younger years when they were a big fashion staple ...a few years ago(Not going to say how many :-P). Glad to see they are still going strong with some cool designs. I got them because I remember their popularity, but more because I love their designs. These have been great for me so far and hopefully a long time.

I bought this pair of sunglasses because of the color. Lance and Livestrong campaign had nothing to do with my decision. This is my first time buying an expensive pair from Oakley after years of reluctance. The quality of the lens and the frame is top notch. The other cool factor is that I can always replace the lenses with any color available and even use the bigger XLJ lenses. So far I'm very satisfied with the purchase. Moisture build up isn't an issue at all. I've used it recently for a 40 mile bike tour and it was very comfortable. I didn't feel like I'm wearing sunglasses. I would definitely buy another sporty sunglasses from Oakley.

I had a pair of woman's and these aren't really any different then those. Lost mine and was heart broken. I worked very hard to have those cause I was always loosing mine so had to prove to husband that I could keep my sunglasses for more then a year without loosing them. Well I did it and was able to get these and kept them for 2 years and had not been able to find another pair till I found these on Amazon. They have interchangeable lenses that is what I like about them too. I have polarized ones and several other colors. So it looks like I have several pairs of sunglasses. The price was great too.

Still have these frames seven years later. They have recently discontinued this style for a new and modern approach. These glasses will not disappoint.I even once stepped on them. The joints in these pop apart. Then they pop back together!

I ordered the Oakley Men's Flak Jacket recently and have been very pleased with the product. I have owned the Oakley "whiskers" in gold iridium and another pair (cannot remember which) many years ago. My eyeglasses frames are also Oakleys, so I am definitely a fan of their products.The Flak Jackets have been my favorite Oaks so far. The fit very well and are so comfortable I forget I'm wearing them. Partly this is due to the fact that they are rimless on the bottom of the frame.They do a good job in bright and direct sunlight. These are not low-light shades like the "Gold Iridium" lenses which allow much more light. Also, I find that the Black lenses do not enhance contrast as much as Gold Iridium, so you see less detail in shadowed areas, but have better glare reduction in bright light.Overall, I am a fan of these glasses. Highly recommended.

Great glasses and great quality! They stand up to the Oakley name. These are my husbands second pair, as the dog chewed up the first pair and he was devastated without them. They are great for those bright days, especially in the Arizona sun and help keep from having headaches. Very versatile for men or women. They are spendy but after purchasing a $20 pair of sunglasses at a local pharmacy store there is a reason, you get what you pay for! They are comfortable and don't put extra pressure on the your nose ridge or on the sides of your head!

Received fake glasses. After two days of ownership the Oakley emblem on the side peeled off and the frame is incredibly flimsy. Thanks for sending me a Chinese knockoff.

Great looking shades but they are very small. Didn’t fit my husbands’s medium size face. Unfortunately they are going back.

Great glasses IF you are a small faced woman, but since I purchased these for my husband, I am returning them. Entirely to small for a man's face.
