For those of you using this for costuming, can you see your eyes through it? I need to replace or add to a prerty transparent Anovos lens. Thanks!

It is perfect for costuming. Dark enough that you cannot see your eyes through the lens.

How to best remove the big Hobart sticker without damaging the shield (side question: why would they put it dead center and why is it so adhesive?!)?

The entire shield has an anti scratch cover over it, once removed it will remove the center sticker. Just pull down on the top hanger or start off one of the corners by picking at it and remove it. The center sticker shouldn't need to be touched at all.

does shipping really take up to two months?

It can, depending on where it is coming from especially in these unsettled times.
