These are solid, high quality connectors that are extremely easy to install and function flawlessly. Be certain to use the Black stress relief insert for larger diameter cables, or the White insert for smaller cable. The ease of movement of the latch seems affected by the degree to which the rear Blue clamp is tightened when screwed on. The outer casing of the connector (containing the latch) serves nicely as a wire stripping gauge: Use the length of the larger diameter portion with the latch for stripping the outer rubber jacket Use the length of the smaller diameter threaded portion for stripping the wires themselves. I recently purchased a 100' 12AWG speaker cable, cut it in half, then cut one of the halves in half. Utilizing these connectors, I now have two 25', and one 50' speaker cable... which means that (with a Male-Male connector added), I have two 25' OR two 50' speaker cables at my disposal.

I'm a former pro audio contractor & touring engineer. I own a couple of DJ dance clubs and still do all my own sound work. These Speakon compatible connectors do a great job and save money compared to the big brand. I've used them with 12, 14 & 16 gauge wire & all work great. I like that phillips screws that are used to secure the connections.

best price for good speakon plugs. These are fine, and work better than the old Neutrik 2 poles I'm replacing. Those worked fine for years, but eventually the plastic got chewed up and bent, so they were difficult to work with. Other reviews tell you what you need to know. I see no reason not to buy these if price is important. I got a pack of 4 for under $10, so I thought I'd give them a try. They do the job well, and I expect they'll last for many years of professional use. The poles are not labeled, so I had to figure out which was which by looking at another brand. The 'channels' are labeled 1&2, but the polarities +/- were either not present or not visible to me.

I needed speakon ends for my stage monitors and knew making my own cables was the best option. 30 and 50 foot cables were way more than I spent making my own! The GLS Audio plugs were a perfect match to the monitor inputs and are very well made. They came with two different internal cable clamp sections to accommodate large and small speaker cable. I have another install coming in the next few months and will be buying more. Great price, excellent quality!!

These are good quality speakon connectors. I had a 50ft 1 4 GLS cable. I cut the 1 4 cable in half to make two 25ft cables. I put the speakon connectors on 1 end and left the 1 4 cable on the other. Couldn't be happier. The plugs work as they should they are very easy to install and they have 2 positive and negative connections for bi amping. I have had success with gls products in the past. I highly recommend these. When it comes time for me to upgrade my amp rack I'll be making patch cables with gls wire and connectors for sure.

These compare pretty well on the road, but in the shop they’re a bit finicky. They snap into the jack very nicely with a satisfying click, but the boot has threads that are so tiny that they get stripped when you apply even the slightest amount of force. I’m using 14/4 rubber cable with these and the white strain relief (the black one is for much thicker stuff), and I can barely get the strain relief to bite down on the cable because the boot keeps slipping off its threads.

A quality product for a price that is flat out unbeatable. I had an issue where one of them had a clamp that was melted from the factory, so I contacted GLS directly through the Amazon seller option. I did not request anything, but wanted to let them know what occurred so they would know. The connector worked fine, it was just the black clamp for heavy wire that was the issue, so I didn't make a fuss. The GLS Owner contacted me within 48 hours and apologized and told me not to worry and that I could toss the defective one and he would send me a new set. To Say the least I was floored. I have never had such great service from a company, and to find out they are a family owned company! I will never forget this, and after experiencing the quality and affordability of GLS products and being in the industry for more than 28 years, I will continue to be a customer and strongly recommend them to everyone in the industry.
