nothing happened?
not sure what to make of it. it tasted good, which is my first suspicion, and i never felt any effect, even if i took it on an empty stomach fasted, or if i took it with water, or far, or with food. zero difference, no effect. not sure.

Packaging is stange
It does come as two zip lock bags, as mentioned. The outer bag is a normal think, lined bag for bulk herbs. the second bag is a thin plastic unlabeled zip lock bag placed inside. It makes you wonder why there are two bags, like someone has placed "some powder" in a small bag, and inserted it into the normal bag. I buy a lot of bulk herbs and have never seen this. It may be fine, and contain Cistanche, but it's strange. Why not just fill the main lined bag like other suppliers?

Good Quality at a reasonable price
Quality Cistanche comparable to more expensive brands. Mixes well in hot water for a coffee and black tea alternative with better health benefits. Not available for Prime shipping, but at this price point it's worth to order in advance.

This other than slices is actual Cistanche tubulosa unlike some of the others. I don’t get the issues with the packaging. I love the double plastic lining
