I should of went with a gen 9 msi gaming board instead of a gen 8 for the cpu. I ran into a bit of trouble ( my own fault for not reading the fine print). But with a quick update to the bios it fixed the problem and I was up and running. unfortunately I had to buy the cheapest 8th gen cpu I could find (8th gen i3) to do the update in order to use my 9 gen i7. Not a mistake I will be making again anytime soon, it cost me an extra hundred dollars for 10 minutes of use of a CPU lol. I bought one of these when they 1st came out years ago. It is still working flawlessly. I decided to build a new pc with updated cpu, memory and motherboard. I checked the specs of newer gpus and decided that the new specs are not that much better than this older gpu. Why spend the money for a minimum gain? I run three full 4k monitors without any problems using the 2080ti FE.
